After reading some reviews, I am prepared for the disappointment. But no, it is as it should be. Price is higher than I expected to spend 😔 though. Easy to assemble, material is fairly strong. I put 2 of 50 pounds bags of salt and other things. They are not bending (for now). I am using for outside to organize cluster on the ground. They are under the roof but outside. Hope it wont rust or break too quick. ... show more

The clips were mildly frustrating to assemble and did not clasp all the way despite aligning the internal ridge with the groove on the pole, however the shelves are holding strong without shifting despite this. I have a closet where I mostly store sewing items, and after clearing out more space, I realized the benefit of a large, open shelving unit and chose this one. I calculated the height based on where a support bar sits that holds an upper closet shelf, but I wasn't aware that the top shelf on this unit doesn't have to be at the very top. This was a nice realization when I began putting it together. Speaking of putting it together, there are no tools required, there are just the plastic pieces that snap together wherever you want a shelf to sit. I put the bottom shelf a few inches from the floor so I could put things underneath (shoes, etc.), and from there I lined up each shelf to allow a storage cube to fit, but if needs change, I can easily move a shelf up or down to allow smaller/larger items to fit. This will be around for a long time, and I will definitely buy more in the future :-) ... show more
