Ok, so I'm a Samsonite regular user of luggage. While I am sure, as with most things, you can spend more for better if you have no limit; for me, Samsonite is the gold standard for most people. It comes with the bells and whistles, and you pay a premium for it. So, suffice it to say, this set is not Samsonite, nor does it purport to be. I say this to sort of set the tone for expectations. This whole set cost what single piece of comparable Samsonite would run for. At the same time, that is this set's upside! What a deal! For what one piece of Samsonite costs, or more, you get three quite solid, quite attractive, quite functional pieces of luggage. You get amazing versatility. I mean, wow, they nest for storage. The three sizes are going to me 99% of all people's travel needs along the way. One of the biggest differences with this set to me is that absolute, bare-bones nature of it. No cushioning at all, except the built in stress reducing design of the plastic, via the ridges and baffles. Look at any airport luggage video, and you'll see the beating that it takes. As such, I expect that while this luggage will function simplistically, it will require some difference in packing. For instance, I would put all manner of delicate items in my regular luggage, and add little cushioning. Here, that thought process will have to be adjusted. That's just the deal. At the same time, because these are such slim-line items, they are lighter and more beneficial in this regard. Add to this the storage ability of each, nesting and whatnot, especially for longer trips where you actually unpack, or simple home storage when not in use, this is a wonderful, space saving feature. They come with a simple lock mechanism, which won't keep out determined actors, but will absolutely push many casual thieves past your bags to another without such obstacles. Nice bonus, there. No exterior pockets, of course, another comparable loss, but again, also slimming and lighter and more readily agile all told are these. At times, I so front load my Sam's bags, that they are always falling forward. Annoying. Not going to be the case with these. They come with simple separators within, and that's about it. Form and function and price, all meeting to create a nice offering, depending on what you're after. To me, what I really like about these is the slim nature, and versatility. There will surely be times where I will want to forgo my Sam, and instead lean toward these, as they will be the better fit to the task. I hope this review offers much by way of insight and helps you determine if these are a right fit for you. In the end, I consider these are a terrific first set of luggage, and perhaps over time, you might add some more expense pieces, one piece at a time.

This two piece set is a good investment for those who travel a lot and need both carry on as well as checked baggage. The sides are grooved and thus add an interesting look to the set, but I could not see a specific advantage for durability. However the grooved feature does seem to curtail any scuff marks. The zippers are a little stuck and you may want to ease them up by applying a soap bar for first use. The inside is partitioned for separation if dry and damp clothes. The metal brackets, covered by the layer of thin fabric is noticeable when packing but can easily worked into a smart traveler’s packing regimen. Good value at a good Amazon price.

I have some traveling in my near future and needed some new luggage. This set is a very good price for what you get. There is a large suitcase for when my husband and I need to pack together, or if I need more room for an extended trip. The carry-on is just as nice, but smaller. They zip together and have a zipper compartment, wheels, and handles. The outside is hard yet still flexible. They also have built in TSA-approved combination locks, which is a plus. For me, these will do just fine. They will see relatively limited use, so the fact they nest for storage is also great.

I ordered the 2-piece set, and everything is just as the listing describes. The pieces are very lightweight and the interiors are very spacious. The wheels rotate and roll very smoothly, the TSA-approved locks are helpful and work well, and the handle is sturdy enough (not super hardy but pretty standard). I like the ridged exterior because I think it will hide scuffs a bit] better than the smooth-sided suitcases do. Overall, this is a solid set.

This is a very nice luggage set for the price. The large one is BIG, but the wheels allow for 360 movement which is huge when you are moving through the airport with a luggage of this size. It also has a secure lock combo option. Plenty of space and storage options. The smaller one is perfect for my daughter, its big enough for all her belongings but small enough that she can control it herself and was very easy for her to pull through the airport. Lightweight and comfortable, this is a nice set for the price point.

The media could not be loaded. I recently got this 3-piece luggage set, and it’s awesome! The combo of PC and ABS makes them super durable yet lightweight, perfect for travel. The 360° smooth spinner wheels are a game-changer, making it so easy to zip around. The TSA locks are a nice touch for added security.
