For $7.99 (at time of order) this 3 pair pack of long socks is a pretty good deal. I ordered them because I wanted longer socks as UV protection, and these came in basic neutral colors. On my calves the white was a little sheer in certain places but that's because my thick calves probably stretched the socks; if your calves are thin, I don't think the white will look sheer in certain places. They come up to just under my knees. For reference, the socks are for size 5 to 11 feet, and my feet are a size 6, I'm 4'11" tall, 105 pounds, and my calves are 14 inches in diameter at the thickest area. I was hoping they'd shield my calves from the hot summer sun while playing pickleball and they did, but the socks felt too warm (that's my fault, they're cold weather "fall/winter" socks) and were a little itchy due to the heat.

I really like these socks. They are on the thinner side but they are soft. They do well as slouch socks but also as knee-high socks. They laundered well without shrinkage and have enough stretch to fit most shoe/sizes comfortably.

It's still summer weather here, so I haven't worn these for a whole day yet. But I'll definitely need them come winter. I like that they come in a three-pack with different colors depending on how you're dressed. And I like that they are longer and meant to be scrunched down. I have this pair of boots that are styled like military boots, but nicer. I love wearing a sweater or dress, a pair of tights and those boots...but you need socks that come higher than the boots to really finish the look. The material is soft and I'm sure they will keep my feet warm in the colder weather. Again, I haven't worn them a full day, so I can't speak to how well they'll hold up with repeated washing. But for the cost, I'm sure I'll get some good use out of them.
