I ordered these for my 7 year old, who loves skirts, but has to wear shorts under them (the girl loves to do cartwheels, climb on the jungle gym, etc). These seemed like the perfect solution.. they have the dressy look of a skirt, but are shorts.. and have the bike short type lining under them! She absolutely loves them too! The fabric is super soft and has an elastic waist… she hasn’t complained once about them being uncomfortable (which is often the case with new clothes). I ordered the pack with the hot pink, lavender, and baby blue combo, and even though I was a little nervous they might be hard to coordinate with her tops, we had no problem at all finding things they looked cute with! Definitely will be buying in other colors! For size reference, my daughter is very petite (only 40 lbs and just now outgrowing a 5T in most brands), and the XS was a tad big in the waist, but with the drawstring you are unable to even tell.

These shorts are all the rage in 5th grade this year. My daughter is tall but super slender, so the Xs fit her perfectly. This is my second time ordering these in a different color combo. They are very short, but our schools abolished dress codes last year, so there isn't an issue wearing these to school.

I don’t write a ton of reviews, but when my daughter wore the lightest pair to the water park I knew I had to on this one! I was so nervous they were going to be see through. She even wore BRIGHT salmon colored bottoms underneath. I was absolutely STUNNED at the quality of these shorts!! You can’t even tell what color her bottoms are while she’s completely submerged in the water! I was flabbergasted lol. I had to take pictures and post because we loved the shorts before but this made me buy a second and third set!! They’re buttery soft. So smooth and amazing quality. Even after being in saltwater for 8 hours! They dry quickly and are great for everyday, sports, and swimming!! Absolutely can’t recommend these enough. I even sent my favorite mom friends the link because these can’t be beat!

My 9 1/2 year old loves these “butterfly shorts.” They are very short, so be aware of that. They look more like a tennis skirt, but have the biker shorts built in underneath. She loves them. We got the 3-pack in black, pink & white. She wears size 5/6 & the XS fits her well.

Love that these are machine washable because some are hand wash. My daughter is 10, 75lb, 4’9” and we got the YM. Her friend got the YS and she is same exact size. They fit in waist but are too short for school. The YM is perfect with drawstring tied and has some room for growth or shrinkage. Definitely would buy these again.
