I have a lot of doodads for needlework and crafts, and this tool box (or doodad box) is making it a LOT easier for me to locate them. I'm delighted with it, and am already cussing much less as I enjoy my hobbies. The box has three levels. The trays and compartments are not adjustable or removeable. The trays and hinges open/close as one unit by moving the clear lid; I can't open/close it by moving one of the trays. -- The top level has four compartments. each just over 2 x 4.5 inches (just under 5.5 x 11.5 cm) and 0.75 inches/2 cm deep. The hinges are outside the compartments. It doesn't nest into the other layers, it goes up into the clear lid. The vertical space from top layer to bottom of lid is just under 1.5 inches/4 cm at most, 1.25 inches/3 cm where the lid is indented for the handle and two shallow indents at the sides. -- The middle layer has three compartments, each just under 3.25 x 4.75 inches (7 x 12 cm) and 1 inch/2 cm deep. The hinges are on the outside of the layer and don't intrude into the compartments. The top layer doesn't nest into the middle layer when the box is closed. -- The bottom layer is a single compartment, each just under 5.5 x 10.5 inches (14 x 27 cm) and 2.5 inches/7 cm deep. When the box is closed, the middle layer nests into it so the working depth is about The hinges are on the inside of the bottom layer and make most of the bottom layer 1 inch/2 cm narrower. I tried to be detailed about the size of the spaces and how they fit together, because most of them are "a bit less than" -- and that can be the difference between a item fitting and not fitting. I took a star off for those non-standard measurements. My embroidery scissors fit nicely into the top layer, my small kid's paper/fabric scissors fit well in the middle layer, my fabric scissors and pinking shears fit in the bottom layer. it's definitely a light duty box, which I like -- very easy for my elderly hands to lift the fully loaded box by the handle. The lid latches securely to the bottom layer. I've loaded it with a combination of metal/plastic/fiber doodads and it comfortably handles 2.5 pounds/1 kg. The hinges work smoothly so far (I've opened closed it at least 50 times) and I expect they will last for many years if I treat them gently. I'm sometimes absent minded so "will it survive if I sit on it?" is a real question, and the answer is "probably not, unless it's on a very cushy surface." I'm very happy with this doodad box. It does what it's designed for and does that very well. My "caveats" are not flaws IMO; they're to help others know what to expect, and decide if it suits their needs. It sure suits mine!

I love this little storage box. It reminds me of my childhood Caboodle so perhaps that’s why I like it so much. I have to admit, I didn’t have high hopes for it. I have bought similar looking boxes from discount stores in the past and they were poor quality. I never ended up keeping them long. This little box surprised me though, it really is a good quality storage box unlike a lot of similar looking ones I’ve purchased in the past. It opens up to 3 separate levels. The first 2 levels each have a tray and both trays have multiple compartments with removable dividers. For example, the top tray has 3 compartments that are separated by 2 dividers. However, it comes with an extra divider you can use if you want to make a 4th compartment. You can also change where the dividers are in order to make the compartments smaller or larger which is nice. The lowers level is the actual storage box and can fit larger items in it. When you close the entire box, the top two trays fold into the bottom part of the box if that makes sense. Although the box is lightweight and appears small, I am actually able to fit a good amount of stuff in it. Recently, I have taken up stamp carving. This box not only fits all my carving tools, but it also fits my Linoleum blocks, as well as a handful of my completed stamps. I love that it fits a decent amount of my things, yet doesn’t take up a lot of space. I’m very happy with this Tackle Box organizer. As someone that does a lot of crafting this is great to have. I would definitely purchase another one.

Great little, emphasis on little, organizer. I’m not sure anyone would actually use this as a tackle box, but it worked well for organizing our wall anchors and picture hanging supplies. Even the larger bottom compartment isn’t suited for anything bulky, so I wouldn’t recommend it for bigger items. But if you’re looking to organize small craft supplies, hardware, or other tiny odds and ends, this could definitely do the job.

This storage box wasn't really my cup of tea, as the compartments were too small to store full-sized pens or pencils. If you're an artist like me, you might need a bigger art box to accommodate your materials. However, it could be a great fit for crafters working with gems or other small items. Overall, if you need a storage solution for larger art supplies, you might want to consider a different option.

This tackle box type organizer does the job of storing my cake and cookie decorating odds and ends well, though it does feel a little flimsy. This organizer holds and sorts my array of decorating tips and discs, my cookie press and pastry bags, and it's easy to stow in my cabinet. The racks of dividers do float around some if larger objects are placed in the bottom of this box and then this box is closed, allowing for a bit of wiggle room when it comes to storage space in the bottom of the box. The racks will slide back far enough for me to access the very backs of the lower divider rack without issue. The locking clip of this organizer operates well, locks securely, and is easy to open and close. All parts of this box are plastic aside from the cotter pin on the locking clip, allowing it to be washed from time to time without much concern of any hardware rusting. This box is not airtight or watertight, but it's quite suitable for normal storage. This box works well for my needs, and it would be good for a variety of other uses such as crafting and or art supplies, beauty supplies, and small tool and hardware storage/organizing.
