It comes out easily. Compared to every other lightning cable accessoriy dongle or usb cord I have used, this removes itself by itself more than all combined. So plug it in all the way and just recognize you’ll have to check every time you put your phone down if it’s plugged it. I would suggest getting a phone, watch, AirPod charging stand. Can charge, and listen with two headphones. Splitters with an aux cable (the middle one) will work, don’t try to use headphones with an aux to lightning cable attachment (I know weird but I tried it and it doesn’t work)) ... show more

You can use it as a 1/8” headphone jack adapter and that’s pretty much it. The lightning charging port stops working the moment you send audio to either of the headphone ports. So the product does NOT allow you to listen to music via corded headphones while simultaneously charging as the manufacturer claims. This renders both the charging and lightning headphone ports totally useless. The only useful feature is the 1/8” headphone jack adapter, which is something you can buy in bulk for less than one of these. Definitely do not buy this scam product. ... show more

Does what it says on the tin with no fuss. The only nit-pick I have is that the lightning headphone port will not charge the phone when the lightning power cable is plugged into it - so you have to make sure to plug the power into the other lightning port or you won’t be charging. I’ve plugged it in wrong a couple of times and now I know to double-check. Still, that’s acceptable to have this three-way functionality in a single small adapter.     • Broke part way through trip
At first this product was amazing. I went on a 2.5 week vacation to Europe and this was great for charging my phone and listening to music (except it did get a bit hot during use) on the place and in our hostels however after while it stopped working. I can charge my phone with it sometimes now but if I plug my earbuds in it stops working all together. And worst of all, for some reason when that happens, it makes it so I can’t charge my phone at all. After it doesn’t work I’ll plug my phone in alone to the outlet and it won’t charge then and I have to find a new outlet. So this product is great if you need it for one short trip, but it’s not a long term product in the slightest. ... show more
