I waited a month to write this review. We made the mistake several years ago of buying a split king adjustable bed. We will never do that again because the canyon between the two beds is so uncomfortable. I have tried at least 10 different products to fill that gap so I could sleep at night. This is the ONLY one that actually worked! It is easy to put on and it stays in place. I can’t even tell there is a gap between the two mattresses. After being disappointed so many times I was very skeptical about buying this one. I’m glad I took a chance. I recommend this 100% and would give it 10 stars if I could. A good nights sleep is the key to overall well-being.

I wish I could love this product, but first it came with no instructions! I had to come to Amazon to get a visual of how to put it on. It wasn't simple because it kept popping off because it did t fit and I wasn't sure if i put it on over the fitted sheets or under. Because we have a double twin king it has to go over the fitted sheets and it feels like a cheap towel so we dont want to lay on it, we prefer laying on our sheets. Cant put it under the fitted sheets because we use the twin sheets for the split king because we adjust our mattresses differently. I will be returning it. Smh. We made a big mistake buying a split king so we will be getting rid of it.

We bought a Sleep Number bed that is twin mattresses. They are individually controlled in many ways, but left what we called a "gaping crevasse" in between. I tried some other options, but this provided the best way to treat the bad as a king-size without the space. Each side can be a different firmness or position and it still works well. I am very happy with the purchase and my hubby likes not having the "crevasse."

The 10” piece that lays on top of the two twin mattresses where they connect has no “wedge” piece to fill the gap that ultimately cause a dip in the center of the bed. Also, the strap that goes around the whole perimeter to hold the two twins together is very narrow (like 3”) and when u pull it tight squeezes the mattresses to the point of making it deformed. I suggest getting a much wider perimeter strap, and a better wedge for the center.

We chose this one for the sturdy strap that keeps the beds from moving apart. The foam insert for between the beds is just the right size and I guess over time it will lay as flat as the mattresses. Very pleased with this !

Most critical is that you can't use the strap provided to secure two twin beds together because it just slips apart when you go to tighten it--why use slippery nylon without a buckle that actually stays put? Next would be just how small the memory foam piece in the middle is because anytime one bed was adjusted it slipped out of place. Lastly, without a thick mattress pad or memory foam put on top of this you would most certainly feel it underneath the sheets. A good concept but it's not suitable for a king split bed that you plan on adjusting at all. Might work if the beds are never adjusted but that defeats the purpose of having this.
