The materials were good quality. Three stars for that. The connectors that join each metal rod have a metal tube inside that shifts back and forth within the connector. At first I didn’t think anything of it however in the end it translated to each finished leg being of different lengths and as you tried correct each one the entire length fell apart. Even starting from scratch and ensuring each center piece was in the same place as the one before it did not keep the center from shifting in the end with slightest movement and causing the same issue. Sadly, I had to send this back. My son-in-law built a solid folding trellis for me for about $20.

The trellis is well built and attractive, however, the instructions are poor. If it were not for the sketches it would be impossible to put it together properly. I got it put together after about an hour, but it is not the way it should be. I had to use my own cable ties as the clips provided are difficult to install. I will now add trellis twine to complete the project.

Huge trellis fan. I love them in gardens and flower beds. This is one that pleasantly surprised me for it's configurability. I wanted something from Trumpet Vines and Honey Suckle and this is perfect for both. Because of it's height I might even use it for an organic privacy wall once these plants fill out. I might need a few more ! Pro's + Super easy to assemble. I did find the instructions confusing at first, because I wasn't understanding there is more than one way to set this up. Shorter or wider that's the choice. + It sticks well into the ground and is sturdy. I dropped mine into clay and had dug out an area for soil on my plants. They took well and just started up the trellis. + I like it better than a wooden trellis. The wooden trellis I used in the past is great, but the black of these just blend into the background which I find ascetically pleasing. The focus is on the plant and the blooms. Not the decor of the wood. That said.. + I think it looks great. I have another trellis from this company for tomato's in my garden which is more conical shaped. This one is great for any vine plant. Con's - None for me Neutral +/- The design is such that the plan is going to grow up the vertical poles first. For me the spacing of the verticals is further than what I planted. So I used garden twine between the verticals to make a kind of vine ladder of sorts between the verticals and horizontals. Basically a twine grid. I think it will fill out nicely and be supported by the main elements of the trellis. The twine didn't detract from my appearance, and I think because of what I planted it they will look great when filled out. Overall, this is a nice addition to a flowerbed or garden for any kind of climbing plant.

This trellis keeps falling over and can't handle any weight from the cucumber plants. We have tried many things to keep it up but it won't stay up. I would have been better off building something sturdier.

I love this so much! this was somewhat difficult to figure out how to put together. The element I most struggled with where the clips that attach the polls to the other polls. For the life of me, I couldn’t get it, right. That aside this is a very nice trellis set, that can be configured in a number of ways depending on what you’re using it for. I like that you can space poles in the trellis at any distance you want. I like that this has finials, because that makes it seem classier somehow. This is a very nice set.

It was not very easy to assemble. I wasn’t able to use the whole kit because it was tall and very wobbly. I only put up four of the frames but I had to attach ground ropes to keep it steady. They’re going to be used for tomatoes. We’ll see what happens
