I wrote a review for rollerblades a while ago but unfortunately I was carjacked and they were in the car :o I bought these to replace them because I wanted something to wear on the cruise ship. The cruise was so awesome there was a waterslide on the boat. Like holy crap that's a huge boat to have a waterslide on it. My best friend Gem and me wore the blades all over the boat but we kept goin out of control because the brake is like a joke brake it doesn't really work. And the wheel lights aren't really bright unless you go fast so we did and we kept getting yelled at but we didn't care then Gem went over the railing and in the drink. Update: The front bolt that holds the blade on was missing as well, luckily they send a couple extras in the box. Unfortunately the extra bolts are a little too long and don't tighten all the way. I guess I'll just have to keep an eye on them to make sure they don't loosen up. My daughter complains that the plastic strap insert catches on the inside of other skate and trips her. Not sure if this is a design flaw, or user flaw. But it didn't happen with her old skates. Hopefully she learns to keep her feet farther apart before she gets hurt too bad! Other than that, she says they are comfortable. These are a gift, so I'll update after my daughter opens and tries them. So far my only complaint is that the aluminum on the blade is scratched and dinged up when I opened them to look at them. ... show more
