Hate to admit I have been crushing fruit for cocktails all wrong ... was using a mortar and pedestal. Did some research and found out that what I need to use is a muddler. Difference? Nice pieces of fruit and more uniform vs the pedestal which was inconsistent and either made slush out of the fruit or left just the skins behind. Get one of these and go for it! The added plus is you muddle directly into the glass, so less dishes to wash to boot.

Nothing to complain about. They get the job done. I make 40+ drinks at a time. So for my purposes, I prefer my muddlers with a silicone handle. My hands tend to slip a bit on these ones. But I don’t imagine that being an issue if I were just making 1-5 drinks.
