I haven't had much luck using this product. I've tried it with the adhesive pads on the floor and then attaching the "gap fixer" and it just slides down the plank and never moves the plank at all, same when I attach the "gap fixer" directly to the floor. I've tried cleaning the floor and insuring there was no dust or debris, etc., but it still slides. With all that said, my plank are not 100% flat and thicker planks than the average standard vinyl flooring planks so that could very well be the issue in my case. The suction quality of the "gap fixer" if really strong and I think adequate for very flat and smooth vinyl planks. I would recommend seeing other reviews that match the type of flooring you have and base your purchasing decision off that if your flooring is not the same as mine. I hate to negatively review a product when it certainly could be the type of floor I have or heck, even user error on my part. I hope that helps.

This floor gap fixer does exactly what it says on the tin. I had a few annoying gaps in the flooring that kept catching dust and looking untidy, and this sorted it right out without any fuss. Build quality feels tough, not flimsy like some of the cheaper bits. It grips well on both sides and actually stays put once it’s in place, no slipping or lifting after a few days. Installation was straightforward, no drama, just line it up and press it down. What I like most is how clean the finish looks afterwards. It doesn’t scream “repair job”, it just makes the floor look tighter and more finished overall. Makes the whole room look tidier straight away. Does the job proper, lasts well, and saves you messing about with more complicated fixes. Solid buy if you’ve got gaps you want sorting quick and clean.

This is a nice floor gap fixer tool for laminate flooring. I have some laminate flooring and inevitably some of the pieces come part and separate over time. I have tried several styles of these tools to slide the flooring back together. By far, the tools with 2 suction cups like this one work much better than tools with only one cup. This tool appears to be well made. I haven't been able to try this particular tool on my flooring yet, but it does have 2 suction cups. The tool itself is made from plastic, which is not as strong as another one that I have made from metal, but the plastic should still be strong enough to get the job done. This tool does have smaller suction cups than my other tools, which will allow it to work on planks with smaller width, which could be very nice for some floors. These tools are easy to use. Just attach the suction cups to the flooring and then tap the tool with a rubber mallet to move the floor planks back in place. Typically very easy. This tool does include some adhesive patches that can be used inbetween the tool and flooring for floors that the suction cups won't stick too. Overall, this is a great value at this price.

I have never used this type of tool before so I wasn't sure what to expect, let alone if it would work properly. It did work well to close the gaps on laminate flooring in several places. I was able to get good grip/suction with just the tool so I can't speak to the effectiveness of the pads. It was actually easier to use than I expected. I had better movement results when my weight was further away from the adjoining planks - stands to reason as it removes the pressure/tension from the locking joints. I also initially neglected to clean dust/dirt out of the gap (yeah, confuse me with the obvious). Once cleaned out, they ends butted nicely. Although plastic, it seems well made and didn't give the feeling it would crack or break even with some probably over zealous blows. Some planks moved with relatively light tapping - I suppose it all comes down to the existing tension and whatever debris may hinder movement. Overall, it did what it was intended to at a reasonable price so I have no complaints.
