Extreme heavy duty. Will only work well on level cement surface. We used it on our very large double gates. One side has a grassy incline, could only open the gate about 1/4 of the way due to the incline of the terrain. I was hoping the spring would give enough to allow it to open. Not even close. We're going to have to dig a trench for the wheel to run in and probably drop some gravel and cement into it for longterm use. The side that is grass and no incline is still difficult to open. The wheel gets stuck in the grass and needs a realky hard push or pull open. Our grass is short, we cut once a week. Ease of opening will come when we make a cement pad or path for the wheels to run on. They do work very well keeping support under each end of the gate. They are very heavy just to pick one up.

I wanted these for my Wooden Double gate going to my back yard to keep them from sagging. I wanted the larger wheels and heavy duty brackets for the weight. They seem to work great for that. They come with the longer bolts to actually bolt them onto the wood gate. Just keep in mind they are actually heave so definitely made for heavy duty use. They were well packaged and received on time.

I built a 10' x 7' privacy fence gate that weighs a couple hundred pounds, this wheel works perfectly with the rest of the hardware I bought. My gate is 3" thick, so I had to purchase carriage bolts that were 1" longer than those included, but I didn't mind because I wanted black coated bolts anyway. The brake works very well and locks into place. Worth the price if you have a have gate.

Easy to install and made my gate so much smoother to open and close. Also the locks on the caster means I don't have to drill holes in my new concrete for sliding anchors to keep the gate doors open, just lock the casters.

Works. Pivot was a major issue for me see video. As it dropped off edged of road got stuck in the Pinot. Would not go back onto the road. I solved the issue by adding a cement area to level pivot area. Also takes up a large area so make sure your area has accommodates 10” extension. A quality sturdy materials. Well made., heavy duty.
