This shock was to replace the standard Honda XR150L item in order to lower the bike @ 1". Installation was of medium effort if you have the right tools and shock works as well as can be expected in this price range in terms of ride quality which is acceptable. (Note: I use bike primarily on street, not trails.) The only complaint is there was no indication as to what end of the shock went "up" as it could be installed either way. Bought this shock for my KLX 110 ..2012 for a temporary replacement. And uh, let me tell you, don't waste your money. Complete garbage. It barely even holds the weight of my bike and has very cuddy rebound. Save your money and buy one from bbr

Put this on my kids tao tao 125 new cheetah after he ramped it in the air. Rewarded the top bracket on and bolted this one right in factory location. Did have to drill out bolt holes on brackets to fit proper bolt but looks good and functions well so far.
