I purchased this product 2.5 months ago. I got them to use in the rooms my dogs sleep in. They are seniors and their breeds are prone to reverse-sneezing. One of the dogs also has pretty bad seasonal allergies. I hadn’t even heard of air purifiers until this year, but immediately knew I wanted to get some for their bedrooms. This product IMMEDIATELY made a difference in the air quality. It had a fresh and crisp smell to the areas within 15 minutes. I run them all day and night. I just now bought replacement filters. For us, I will need to replace monthly rather than wait so long. I plan to purchase more of these in the future as we have a rather large home. I have had these for a few good months now. There are four cats in my household and these purifiers have made such a difference. I no longer get smacked with cat smell when I walk in my house. The option to use essential oils is such a benefit. I use rosemary which is supposed to help cover cat smells. I am very pleased to have the option of running the purifiers constantly or on a timer. I only hear them if they are on the most powerful setting and that eventually fades. Plus, you can turn the control panel lights off making it a bit inconspicuous. We’re expecting our baby to be here any day now, having carpet through out the house we wanted to use air purifiers to help clean the air better for baby. We went with this two pack, one for the living room and the other in the bedroom next to baby’s bassinet. According to the sq foot output these are more than enough for what we wanted without being big and bulky. We like that they’re compact and not very loud but pretty powerful for the size, you can feel the fan blowing from nearly 50” above the purifier on the high setting. The buttons are very easy to use, they also have a built in timer which illuminates the display when you set the timer on, there’s also a built in pad to hold essential oils to help add a little smell as well. It’s hard to notice any real difference in air quality. I don’t have any pets or anything like that, but I do have allergies from time to time and this doesn’t really seem to make much of a difference. My expectations weren’t high to begin with I really just bought it for the peace of mind, look, and white noise. And I’ll say I love the white noise! It’s not loud and it’s not quiet, although it can be if on lowest setting, it’s perfect at “high speed.” Quality is okay. Not really a fan of capacitive touch, but that’s just me. The little scent pads they offer do the trick for about a day when adding essential oils, but I hardly use this feature. These have made a world of difference in my apartment. Other people in units around me and people outside smoke A LOT. These don't take away ALL of the smell, but they do help immensely in my bedroom and the kitchen. I live in a small apartment (about 650 square feet), and placed in the two rooms I chose, they are perfect. The media could not be loaded. The Con: The filters that come with the airpurifier look blue and white and do not appear to actually have the activated charcoal(black) layer. The product is advertised to have a layer of activated charcoal. Charcoal is the only way to truly get rid of odors . But without breaking the filter open and pulling apart the filter I can't be 100% that there isn't a charcoal layer, but it doesn't appear to. Fortunately the suggested replacement filters I ordered from two different companies have the visible activated charcoal layer. I guess that's why these air purifiers were on sale for 80$ box of 2. I haven't had a chance to try the replacement filters w/charcoal yet on a day when my neighbor is smoking so I can really test the efficacy. I will revise my review when I'm sure. But overall I'm satisfied especially with the sale price. The replacement filters are pricey at @ 10-11$ each , for the size, but compared to name brands it is reasonable. The pros:Overall it's a nice looking, simple product. The high speed isn't terribly loud; I sleep with it on medium to have the room quieter for my cat. The blue light is nice and not too bright but it can easily be turned off from the control panel. It is a very straightforward unit. Easy to open and plave the filter. 3 speeds. Light on or off. There's a lock button; I'm not sure why you'd use that. There is a filter change indicator , 3 different timer settings and an on/off button. Does it do a great job of purifying? I don't have an air particulate meter yet and I've only had the item for a week. I'll try to come back and revise once I know.
