This is a sweet little sterling chain. I gave it 5 stars, and it is certainly a good purchase. However, I had just bought an FTPWP chain from Amazon, which exceeded all expectations - 6 star material. It is heavy, strong, beautiful, and looks much more expensive than it is. The reason I didn't use the FTPWP chain for my medal is that, at a minimum length of 18', it proved too long. I kept it anyway and wear them both at the same time. Okay, quick clarification because this part matters. I personally did not test this necklace. I came across another review where someone did an acid test and mentioned it failed, and they also noted some magnetic properties. So that definitely raised a flag for me and made me question whether this is truly sterling silver as advertised. Now, putting that aside for a second… This chain is genuinely beautiful. The rope design has a really nice shine and catches the light in a way that feels a little more elevated than your basic chain. It lays nicely on the neck, feels smooth, and doesn’t tangle in my hair, which I always appreciate. The clasp is easy to use and feels secure, and the packaging makes it gift-worthy right out of the box. So here’s where I land: I can’t personally confirm the material, but the concerns from other buyers are worth noting. If you’re purchasing this expecting verified sterling silver, you may want to do your own testing or keep that in mind. If you’re buying it purely for the look, though, it absolutely delivers.
