  • Great ramp for smoker out of shed and onto raised porch

Very sturdy, very easy to use, ready to use right out of box. Does not move when weight is put on it at weird angles

  • Secure, Safe and Deck Saving Ramps
Number of Items: 2
I am so stoked! When we moved into our house some 11 years ago, one of the first things I did was buy a lawn tractor. The yard is kind of large and I just didn't see myself pushing a walk behind mower. It certainly wasn't top of the line when I got it. But it was a serviceable 42 inch model that got the job done. I've been storing the rider in the two car garage of which we got zero cars into. It was too full of “stuff” to get one car in let alone two. But last Summer, my wife and I cleaned out the garage, but to get two autos in, I had to put the mower into the shed. This was fine, but the shed is raised about 8 inches from the ground. I used 6 stacked bricks to create “ramps” into the shed. It worked, but I was always catching the deck on the floor before the back end was in. <Sigh> Well, eleven years later, I finally remedied the entire situation by ordering these two manufactured, heavy duty, metal ramps. And they are beauts. They are 29 X 24 inches and 6.5 inches high at the top. And they are solid, high strength, reinforced steel and must weigh 40 to 45 lbs. (That did not however stop the carrier from giving them enough of a toss as to bend two corners, one on each ramp, where the box was crunched. See photos.) They are built to support 1,500 lbs which is a little overkill for me and the mower. So today, I decide to go install them since the weather has turned warmer again. Open the damaged carton, and carry them one at a time through the melting snow and ice out to the shed. I opened up the doors and introduced the ramps to their new home. But there was one significant problem with the set-up. The two outward opening doors extend below the wooden threshold of the doorway. In order to keep out critters and vermin the doors have a flap that goes about 2 inches down passed the floor. That means the doors will not shut at all with the ramps installed in place. Well, that sucks. The doorway has a metal lip about two inches below the floor line. I'll try setting the decks on the lip even though I see damage to the shed that way. Regardless it was still too high. The doors are still prevented from closing. <Double sigh.> Setting them on the ground is out as the height of the floor suddenly represents a barrier, too. One last hope: can the bricks support the ramps at the appropriate level? With a bit of sand and soil and a measure of luck, they will. And Yes! They will work! All I have to do is flatten the ground where the bricks were, and reposition the bricks so they are holding the ramps at just the right level. The doors will close protecting the mower from the elements and unwanted guests. As the ramps sit now, I can get the mower in and out easily (which I did) but can't fully close the doors. There is a slight gap. Tomorrow, I am off to a big box retailer for sand. Soil I have. Anyway, the mower doesn't even hesitate to climb the slight incline to get inside the shed. And even without any proper support, the ramps stay in place, too; not even a vibration. The punch hole surface (think cheese grate) is truly non-slip. For the sake of the safety of the machine I think I will bolt the two plates together using the pre-drilled holes and the hardware provided. My situation is kind of unique, I think. I see the ramps working much more easily in the “real world”. I also think the pictures on the Amazon product page are much more realistic than my arrangement. Just didn't want to leave you with the impression that the ramps are temperamental. It's my shed that is obstinate. So, the cars are in the garage tonight, the mower is in the shed, and all's right in my world. Think I will try to get another 11 years out of the old but well maintained machine. These ramps will certainly aid in that endeavor. For that, and the way the are made, I give them 5 big and heavy Stars. ... show more

  • PERFECT!
Number of Items: 2
This ramp is perfect for my shed! It can hold our John Deere Gator riding over it and our Ride on Mower too! It is 2 ramps and you can use them separately or if you want, there is a set of fasteners that comes with these 2 ramps so you can connect the ramps and fasten them together! You get 1,500 lbs of load weight on the ramp which is impressive! No bowing under the weight of our UTV or mower! There are hole punches to prevent any slipping if it is wet and it is rainproof which is fantastic too! There are carry handles at the top of each ramp so you can easily bring these to where they are needed - even on the road if need be. Perfect for dirt biking and ATVing. I'm impressed - they are very sturdy and there is no assembly - they are ready to go as soon as you open them! The possibilities are endless. They really helped us in this latest storm. It got icy so we laid these on top of the icy portions to safely walk across to where we needed to go. Highly recommend - a great value! ... show more

  • Extremely Sturdy And Well Built Ramp That Does Exactly What You Expect
Number of Items: 2
This ramp is an absolute beast. It feels very durable right out of the box and works exactly how I expected. If you plan to use the two ramps separately with a gap in between, there is basically no setup required at all. If you want to use it as one wide ramp, it includes the necessary bolts and nuts to secure everything together. Even though it is made of metal, it is still manageable to move around, which will vary depending on the person. Overall, the build quality is excellent and it inspires confidence when driving equipment over it. • Very sturdy and strong metal construction • Can be used as two separate ramps or bolted together • Minimal setup required depending on use • Lightweight for metal ramps, but still very solid • Anti slip surface provides good traction • Length works well for a wide range of applications If you are looking for a heavy duty ramp that is easy to use and built to last, this is a great option and easy to recommend. ... show more

  • Heavy-duty construction with reinforced design
Number of Items: 2
These are great, if a little bit expensive. Someone put a lot of care into making sure they could hold up some weight. The sides are bent for strength, the bottom is reinforced with angle iron, and there's a stamped handle for carrying. I think under perfect conditions they probably could carry 1500 pounds - half the weight on one ramp, half on the other. I have 2 steps up onto my deck and wanted a way to wheel stuff up and down. One ramp is perfectly wide for an appliance dolly, and I can stack one for each step to create a longer continuous ramp. Both will need to be bolted down as they slip and slide around without the bolts securing them in place. There's nothing on the top or bottom to officially bolt them down, but all the holes can be used as mounting holes. I believe it's steel with a thick coating of paint. They're designed to be left outside all the time without rusting, but being regular steel they will probably rust if the paint gets scratched or chipped. Keep them coated and touch up any damage, and they should last a long time. ... show more

  • Very Heavy duty, strong ramps. Great Grip on these, no slipping. Easy carry handles.
Number of Items: 2
The media could not be loaded. This is an excellent set of ramps ~ ~ From the lawn mower to our ATV, it handles them all. Very solid steel plate construction, does not sag or drop on the heavy equipment. The coating is very thick and even, still looks great after much use. The decking on these is better than the diamond plate, no slip all grip! .. They are not overly heavy to move about, from our low trailer to the garage entrance, the handy handles are good to use and carry these into place. The heavy side plate keeps these strong and safe, no wondering if you will not make the ramp. 100% these are great ramps. The only issue I could find is the price is a bit much for these, but overall still a good buy. ... show more
