I ordered this expecting a small accent piece, and what I got feels like a simple, natural wood stool/table that adds warmth to a room without trying too hard. The freeform top is the charm—it has that live-edge look that makes it feel less mass-produced, and it works well as a plant stand or a spot for a mug and a book. Stability has been good on my hardwood floors, though because the shape is organic, you do need to check that all legs sit evenly; I made a minor adjustment with felt pads to stop a tiny wobble. The finish is smooth enough not to snag clothing, but it still reads like real wood rather than a glossy lacquered piece. Size-wise, it’s small, so it’s not for piling on heavy items or using as a primary end table next to a large sofa. There can also be natural variation in grain and tone, which I consider a feature but some people won’t. Overall, it’s best for everyday use as a flexible accent table in small spaces, and it should hold up long-term if you treat it like a light-duty furniture piece. The design of this little table is really neat. I love that twisted wood look. It’s sturdy enough to hold things like drinks or décor and does not wobbling. It’s not too big so it does not take up a ton of space but still looks great. Mine did have a noticeable clean crack down the base where it looks like two pieces of wood were glued together to make it. That’s the only thing I don’t like about it because it takes away from the natural twisted look. But other than that it’s a great looking piece. It is still worth the purchase. ... show more
