I bought this for my wife for Christmas since she kept on using my hefty RAVPower powerbank continuously. I sometimes need that powerbank for myself. So, when it went on sale on Amazon over the holidays, I quickly snatched it. The RAVPower powerbank is pretty much my baseline for this review of this newer Huaeng portable powerbank. First impressions - it's nice, nothing fancy. Comes with the powerbank inside the cardboard box with a plastic try containing the item, USB micro to Type A cable, and a small instructional pamphlet. It has two ways to charge this powerbank, using the supplied USB Micro/Type A cable or via your own USB-C charge cable (which is not supplied - kind of a bummer). The other two ports are USB Type A output charge ports. Don't get the smaller input charge ports confused with the 2 Type A USB output charge ports. That's what my wife did when she first plugged in her iPhone and said it doesn't charge! I looked at it and quickly noticed and remembered that the 2 smaller ports are for charging the powerbank! I really wished the powerbank input charging was placed on the side rather than side by side with the other two output charge ports! Anyway, once that's figured out, her iPhone started charging immediately. I had the powerbank charged up fully and drained half way to see how long the battery lasts without charging. The powerbank's battery holds it's charge quite well and it does quite a few charges for iPhones and iPads combined. I then told my wife to completely drain the battery and to fully charge it to see how long it took. The full charge actually too several hours as compared to the RAVPower powerbank, which takes 18+ hours to charge! So, this battery powerpack takes way less time and the charge remains over a long period of time. I asked my wife again this morning how she liked the powerbank I got her. She loves it! She says it's even better than my RAVPower powerbank. I'm totally surprised since I love my RAVPower. The other thing to note is that this Huaeng powerbank form factor is smaller and lighter due to the Lithium polymer battery packs inside. The RAVPower powerbank uses the older 18650 Lithium batteries, which is a bulkier and heavier. So, I give this Huaeng Powerbank a 4 stars out of 5. Wanted a power bank for traveling. First I charged this over two days. Takes about 24 hours (not straight or it gets hot) to fully charge. It has a short cord but you have to supply the plug. If after two hours your plug gets too hot, unplug it to cool off. I charged my iPhone SE 2020 seven times with this bank. Each blue light display is about 25% power. It took about 70-80 mins each to fully charge my phone (I charged phone when its at 50% battery left). I wouldn't recommend charging your phone below 30%. When I recharged the power bank the second time, it had one blue light left (I wouldn't also let it go below 25% charge), I let it charge for over an hour each time so the plug won't overheat. This time it took less than last time. I would recommend buying this for travel or extra charge. ... show more
