Wanted to love these so bad. The fabric is so comfortable and they are the perfect wide leg. Loved the ability to pick the inseam. The only issue I had was the waistband. It has a thick elastic that folds in half which is very problematic and uncomfortable, and the whole waist was much smaller in proportion to the rest. Had to return because the waist was so uncomfortable.

Finally petite pants that are actually petite! Love the fabric. Thanks to those that said to size up. I’m 5’0 190 and got the 2x, I’m typically a large. Will definitely purchase additional pairs! Update: I love the pants, but I wish the band didn’t fold over when sitting. Pretty annoying.

Since I am only 5'1", I'm so happy to find this brand called Maison Misfits, because it seems most, if not all, of their women's pants are sold with two or three inseam options. The 26" inseam is perfect for me. It's a real treat to be able to buy pants that are actually the correct length for me. I chose these in black and the color is as expected. The lightweight fabric is really nice; it's flowy but not too thin, and it's stretchy. It's athletic-type fabric but it feels sort of slinky. It drapes and flows nicely, which is nice because these are wide-leg pants, and the slits at the bottom/sides look cute when they flow open as you walk. For the most part these pants have a loose, easy fit, but the waist is smaller than expected. The waist is elastic, but the elastic is sturdy and firm rather than super stretchy. The waist does stretch, just not all that much. Since my body is an "apple" shape, I have a thicker waist, so a softer, stretchier waistband would work better for me. I probably should have gone up a size, but these do stretch so that I can wear them. If you have a pear or hourglass figure, I'm thinking you should be fine. And although the firm elastic is kind of tight on me, I do like the way it looks, because the waistband is smooth and not puckered or bulky like most pants with an elastic waist. The smooth waistbands looks nicer and dressier. Which brings me to my next point: these are marketed as athletic pants but they are nice enough to dress up. Dress them up and no one would ever know they are workout pants. While the drawstring waist definitely says "work out" to me, everything else about the pants makes them versatile enough for workout or going to a casual dinner or party. The slits in the legs are really cute and have as summery vibe. These would look so cute with sandals and a pretty top.
