I ordered this VillaCool 24V White Charger Cord for my Silhouette Cameo 4 after losing my original power cord during a move. This charger is advertised as working with and compatible for all versions of the Silhouette Cameo machines. I confirmed the connector looked the same but was quickly disappointed when I couldn't plug it into my Silhouette. I was using an old Cricut cord as a temp replacement that fits so I compared that one with this one, the connectors look identical but this one seems to be too large. I went back to check the listing and confirm its compatible with my machine again. There is nothing in this listing that indicates you'll have to use the black adapter with the existing plug, its not even listed in the text where it says "What you get:". It wasn't until I checked the reviews that I discovered it comes with a black adapter piece that is required for it to fit. The adapter is NOT shown in any of the listing images, its black which does not match the white cord, and its huge. With the adapter attached, it sticks out 2.5" from the machine. Honestly it looks ridiculous, this charger cord is clearly made for a different device, don't waste your money on this item if your using it for a Silhouette Cameo 4.

There isn't much to review about a charger/AC adapter. Some details are that it is a 2 piece item, but also included a barrel adapter which made it perfect for replacing my failing Kodak Easy-Share 500 printer . It has a thick Guage wire used to make up this unit, which ensures that it doesn't get warm or hot , preventing potential accidents. It has staying power, as I used it for seven hours straight through after replacing the power on my printer.. I had a lot of work backed up to print. It remained at room temperature, including the main electronic/ box part of the unit. Even OEM units often get very hot at that point! It's only a couple if feet long, so no tripping danger. It's a very good quality replacement cord for any other item that matches it in specification, and it's better than many others.

When I misplaced the power supply cord for my Silhouette Cameo 4 last month, I checked Amazon first for a replacement cord. This VillaCool 24 Volt (65 Watt) White Charger Cord arrived in two days and has worked flawlessly since I plugged it in. At just over 6 feet long (78 inches), the cord is plenty long enough to reach an outlet without needing an extension cord and I appreciate the green LED indicator light on the power supply that tells me when the cord is plugged in and the machine is ready to turn on. The cord ships with a 2.1mm connector but a 2.5 adapter is included in the package (and I needed it for my machine). It also came with a user manual (warning! tiny print - make sure that you have magnifying glasses to read it!) but it is truly plug and play. It looks sturdier than the original cord and I'll continue to use it, even if I find the original cord.

Works like a charm! Before ordering, I made sure to double check my needed power output (24V-2.7A) and connector size (5.5 x 2.1mm). Hooked it right up, straight out of the box, and voila, I have power again for my device! I shopped around a little, and the price for the power cord is very comparable. I'm pleased with the cable length, the white color to match my device, and product materials. It also came with an extra connector. I've been bummed without my power cord, and I'm so glad I didn't have to hunt this down, what an easy transaction! PS - I had a general question about the item, so I messaged the seller, who responded so quickly. Great customer service!

I’m truly pleased to report that this cord plugged into my Silhouette Cameo machine and helped it fire right up! It seems well-made and even came with the adaptor I needed to make it work. I’ve previously ordered power cords that were supposedly made for these machines only to have them not fit or provide enough output for them to function properly so it’s great to finally have one that works and works well! Easily recommend if you need juice for your Silhouette!
