These boards are a great value. Large canvas boards get expensive quick! These boards seem kind of thin, but they don't flex easily, but I'd be hesitant to load these up with a lot of really thick paint. I did add a coat of primer before painting these with acrylic paints. Some of the edges aren't exactly even, but then again, these are "value" canvas boards and not professional grade. They are perfect for students and non-professional projects.

This set of 24 canvas is a heavy duty pack of canvas! Fantastic for our paint loving family. Between my daughter, husband, and myself it feels impossible to keep canvas in the house! This set contains all 24 canvas as advertised and works well with oil, pastels, acrylic, and water color paints so far. The quality of canvas is an 8 out of 10 I would say! The price is a perk for us and most canvases are so expensive. This set is worth the cost, We are so happy with these

This is a good value for painting. The texture is not too high, yet it has a good tooth. There was a row of "glue" on a couple of the boards, but that hasn't interfered with any of the paint. These types of boards have come a long way, and I was pleasantly surprised. Great size for practicing, and not worrying about wasting nice canvasses. Perfect for Kids' art too. They could make something really nice and send it home as a gift.

I like the fact that they are relatively inexpensive, and that even with some minor imperfections suit the purpose for all types of collage and painting experimentation personally I always put another coat of gesso on boards like this. They are apparently made of cardboard with thin cotton stretched over and it says they are multiply gessoed. Even with the 11 x 14 size they don’t seem to warp, holding their shape for an easy framing. It’s a economical choice for anyone who doesn’t want to pay much money ,to do some studies -or have some fun in a painting class.
