Where do I start? I love the concept of a carry-on luggage 'set' like this one. I'm accustomed to luggage sets that combine carry-on pieces along with much larger suitcases for checking bags or extended travel. I'm a carry-on devotee, even for larger trips. I've developed this affinity based on a fear of having my bag lost along with my husband's absolute hatred of waiting at baggage claim. So this set is made for gals like me who want things matchy-matchy and practical. This set provides four pieces: the hard shell suitcase, a small travel pouch for toiletry items, a backpack, and a clear case cover. All for a price well below what I usually pay for a single carry-on suitcase. Do I need the case cover? No. Will I ever use it? Probably not. But this item may be attractive for some. If I were Queen for a Day, I'd trade the cover for a coordinating shoe bag or even a reusable dirty clothing storage bag. Either of those items would make the approach of this set unbeatable. But I digress.... The avocado-green shade is just so much fun! Long-gone are my days of selecting practical suitcase colors. I'm all for fun, unique shades and this one hits the mark. The pouch and backpack are a teeny-tiny shade lighter than the soft-yet-vibrant green of the suitcase. And I would prefer the backpack having light grey shoulder straps instead of black. Perhaps I should design my own luggage set as I clearly have some strong opinions about what should be. :) Now, onto the actual features.... The zipper glides easily and the suitcase is lockable (another feature I honestly never use on my luggage but I know it's a must for some travelers). The telescoping top handle pops up and down easily via a button. The wheels are fabulously agile, making it easy to maneuver the case. There's also a little hook on the outside to hang a small purse (as described, there's a weight limit on this hook so beware!). I do so wish this were an expandable suitcase. I find that expansion capacity is an often-overlooked yet massively helpful design element, particularly for carry-on suitcases. I might buy more stuff while I'm traveling. I might be wearing my bulky items when traveling yet want to pack them on my return journey. I don't know about you, but when I'm packing, every inch of my suitcase is prime real estate that gets used. The ability to expand luggage is a biggie for me. Alas, this case isn't designed for expansion but there's still sufficient room in the interior for shorter trips (or minimalist packers). Having the coordinating backpack is great for overflow and doubles as the personal item you typically get with most airlines. It has a squarish shape that's meant to slide easily under an airplane seat (smart!). The little pouch could also hold a wet swimsuit in lieu of toiletries. It's a practical addition to the set. Overall, considering price point, quality, and features, I'm giving this set five full stars. Shocking, as I admit I'm such a stingy grader. Now, must write myself a note on the possibility of designing my own custom luggage set as I have way more opinions than I realized on the topic!

The media could not be loaded. This set is such a good deal for the amount of items you get and the quality of the products. The shining star is the suitcase that is very lightweight yet durable thanks to it's hard shell. It comes equipt with a TSA approved lock to keep your belongings safe. The exterior has a hidden hook which can hold up to 11lbs to make traveling even more convenient. The handle has two heights and the wheels spin a full 360 degrees smoothly. The interior of the suitcase is my favorite layout. It comes with a mesh pocket and even a wet pocket! Although this suitcase is small it fits a decent amount of stuff inside if you pack right! If you don't own a backpack like the one in this set yet, you need one. This backpack can fit almost as much as the suitcase. There is a large pocket that can be compressed down with the straps on the side. It has at least 9 pockets including specific pockets for laptops/iPads, pens, and even a large wet pocket. Both sides have pockets large enough for a water bottle. It can be held like a normal backpack or by the top handle. It even has a chest strap which is useful for hiking and backpacking. The hidden pocket on the back of the backpack is great for keeping travel documents safe. The toiletries bag is pretty basic but it fits a lot. It has multiple pockets for different items including a mesh inner pocket and an exterior pocket. I like the design which includes a handle but I also wish it included a wet pocket. This set also comes with a protective cover and luggage tag. The luggage tag tucks into itself to keep your personal information safe. The cover is great for protecting your luggage and also for the avoiding fees to have your bag wrapped at the airport. I think this would make a great gift. You could potentially personalize the backpack and toiletries pouch because there is a blank white patch of faux leather at the front of each bag. The only thing to note is that it does not extend, so take that into account if you are an over packer. The good thing though is that it's small enough to meet most airline luggage regulations!
