I recently purchased an outdoor pizza oven that accommodates a 16-in pizza. One thing that I noticed when attempting to use this brush is that it is not quite long enough when the oven is in use. This is not something that I considered, as the length of the brush exceeds the length of the oven. However once that temperature gets going, you really don't want to put your hand as near to the heat as you need to in order to reach the back of the oven. That said, if you are using this brush once your oven has cooled you will not have an issue. I appreciate that this brush has a substantial metal hook permanently affixed to the handle. This allows me to hang the brush from my prep cart in between uses. This Pizza Oven brush requires minimal assembly, but comes with a mini screwdriver to do so. The only instructions are with the online description. The handle needs to be inserted into the metal brush portion and lined up with the screw hole. There are two screws provided to secure this process. I believe that one is an extra, as I did not find a place to put the second one. I did find towards the end that I needed a stronger larger screwdriver to finish the job. Once the screw was secured, it was a very stable brush. I did find that the scraping end frequently ran into the walls of my oven. Most grill brushes have this feature, so this is not unusual, just something to be aware of. I do not have enough experience with pizza ovens yet to determine whether damage can be done with the scrapey piece, so I have kept the end away from the oven sides for now. I find myself using this on the cold oven once all of the debris from the previous cook has turned to ash. It is ideal for this, as I can clean the stone before my next pizza and follow it up with a dry paper towel to remove any finer powder. Ultimately, this scraper/brush would be ideal for a smaller outdoor pizza oven with the brush operating at a depth of about 12-14” at the most, before the user would start to feel the heat.

Ordered this for the Ooni we got. I am a fan of using a lot of cornmeal so my dough doesn't stick to the pan when I try to slide it in so it builds up fast. I tried using an a more traditional brush but it kept catching fire. So gave this a shot and it works great. I also like the fact it has a little scraper on the end .. it's super handy when the cheese spills over. It's a solid 5 stars for me.. Note you may have get a little muscle on it it when you attach the handle to the brush but other than that it was super simple to put together

Easy Assembly with Minor Hiccups: This pizza brush works as expected and described. It comes in two pieces and it’s easy to slide the brush onto the wooden handle. However, there is a bit of a challenge around the joint from it not having a clean cut where it can be difficult to push the brush down far enough to align the screw hole. I had to push quite firmly, and some people may struggle with this part. Small Screw and Pilot Hole: The included screw is quite small, and even though a small screwdriver is provided, it can be a bit difficult to turn all the way in due to the small pilot hole. I ended up using a screw bit I have on hand to get it fully screwed in. Good Quality: Outside of the assembly, everything seems to be of pretty good quality. I’ve been making a mess in my pizza oven as I get used to it, and this brush does a great job of reaching further into the oven to brush off any debris quickly between pizzas. Convenient Hanging Loop: It also has a nice big loop for hanging on the wall grill when not in use, which is a handy feature. Still getting my whole set up organized but this has earned its place with the pizza peels as a necessary tool. Overall: Despite some minor assembly issues, this pizza brush is effective and well-made, making it a great tool for maintaining your pizza oven.

I got a new Gozney Arc XL pizza oven and in my last pizza oven (Ooni), I struggled with keeping the pizza stone clean. I got this brush because it has a nice long handle to reach the back of the oven. I have only used it a few times, but it is great for scraping up the burnt on cheese and other burnt on food. You do have to assemble it, but it is just on screw, not the two that is depicted on the website. The stainless steel is thick so it won’t bend when trying to remove stubborn residue. The brass bristles are stiff enough to get off the debris but not ruin the stone. Glad I got this now so I can maintain my pizza stone. At this price it is a great buy and I recommend it.

It seems to come in two pieces for shipping purposes but I feel that it would be sturdier as one. The brush itself is nice and sturdy but the scraper end seems blunt. It comes with a screwdriver for assembly and it’s long enough to get into the back area of a pizza oven.

I have an Ooni pizza oven, which has a large pizza stone base. This brush allows me to reach to the back of the cooking surface easily. The brass brush does a good job of cleaning off any remaining charred cornmeal and flour, without damaging the stone surface. There is a stainless scraper for harder debris, but I have not needed to use it yet - the brush alone has worked well on everything so far. It is definitely easier than removing the stone to clean with a smaller brush. The bristles are embedded into a hardwood strip and the handle is varnished hardwood, so I would not want to leave it in an oven at full cooking temperature for long, but it should be OK for a quick brushing if needed.
