Well packaged, shipped fast, I won't know how it works until after Christmas, but I think it will be great. Opened on Christmas with great excitement. It turns out that the remote was defective and did not work correctly. We contacted Amazon returns, and they said that they would swap the entire unit with a new one. We sent the complete excavator back, and received a new excavator in 3 days. The new excavator works perfectly, and is great fun to play with. Although we had some trouble in the beginning, we are happy with the way Amazon resolved the issue, and are completely happy with the toy excavator.

My son loves this remote controll excavator! Especially the steam feature! Lights and sound are vibrant as well. It could be just a tiny bit more sturdy, but if you are careful, it last a long while. Worth the price paid!

Our youngest children are triplets, now 8 years old, which include identical twin girls and a boy. They are all wonderful and share an incredibly close bond. At times, I sense my son longs for an identical twin brother to share his interest in military games and car races, rather than playing with Barbies or assuming the role of the default dad during house play. This product worked well for about 4 days, now the drive motors don't work to move the Bulldozer. It does come with 2 batteries and a charger, which work well. The blade up down/tilt still works on my unit, but it won't drive back/forth or turn anymore. I don't have the box anymore, or I'd probably return it.
