Daily planners are highly personal things. The ideal daily planner for one person is not necessarily the ideal planner for another person. This particular planner fulfills my needs perfectly: Correct size: Closed, it's approximately 8" x 10" Open, it's approximately 16" x 10" Sturdy but pliant: It holds its shape as a "book." It's flexible to fit well in a backpack or briefcase. It has a highly useful elastic strap, allowing for always opening the book on the current week. On every weekly page, there are also smaller versions of the present and the two future months. The texture of the cover is pleasant to the touch, yet it is durable, pliable, and resistant to liquid. It's an attractive color. There's plenty of space for all the events of the week, as well as for a detailed listing of daily events. I have opted for this model of Global Printed Products calendars for five years now, and will stick with it for as long as the company continues to make this iteration of an excellent daily/weekly planner. ... show more

Nicely made. But a little too big and heavy for what I want. I would rather have one a little smaller that opens and lies flat. This is a beautiful calendar and will give it to someone else to use.

    • Compact with lots of room to make notes
I have used Smithsonian planners for the past 20 years. It seems that they are not in that business any longer, so I ordered this one. It has just as much room to write, lays flat, and fits in my purse nicely. A winner all-around!
