I just installed this seat this weekend, and my 4-year-old cousin tested it out on a 12 mile ride. He seemed very comfortable and secure. He fit fine and there is some flexibility so I think it will last for many years. I think you could remove the armrests, the handle, the foot supports and even the back to make it just a padded seat that could carry any size person that the bike can handle. It was easy to install, I did cut a piece of old carpet to fit underneath the seat, between it and my rack so that the bolt heads wouldn't scratch my bike. The bottom of the seat is plastic, I was expecting wood, but there maybe would inside the plastic. No complaints, just sharing my observation. My rack is wider than the maximum in the listing, but it still went on without trouble. I have a velotric fold one plus ebike.

Was a little skeptical because the reviews I found were all for a different seat than the one I was interested in but I ordered it anyway and am pleasantly surprised! It fits my 1 year old great with tons of room to grow. It’s sturdy and well made. The padding is very soft and installation was a breeze. I love that both the sun canopy and the lap bar both come off if needed. Definitely worth the initial investment as this will likely last years.

We use this seat nearly every evening for our bike rides. 5 pt harness was important to us. Good support for our son starting when he could sit independently and beyond (currently 1yr and still uses). Only complaint is the straps do loosen with each use, but only minimal and we just make sure to full tighten again before we start our ride

The seat I received was terrible quality. Machine screw hole was stripped in a critical area that holds the seat to the bike, which could be very dangerous. Seemed to be made from particle board. Instructions were very confusing. Materials were supplied with no explanation what they were for.

There is no good way to install this on a bike. I tried it on two different bikes and the location of the mounting straps just doesn't work or fit with either bicycle I had. I had to rig up a ridiculous solution involving Velcro and zipties and it's definitely not what I would call stury. There needs to be a way to properly fix or mount this to a bicycle, and none are included. They even give you zip ties on the bag, and I'm not trusting zip ties with my child. So 3 stars because the seat and components are solid, but not having a good way to mount it to anything makes it a pass in my opinion unless you're ready and willing to tinker with it for hours.
