I’m a beginner and have been playing with this paddle about ten hours/wk for the last seven weeks. It feels good in my hand, doesn’t stress my arm or elbow and I can’t blame miss-hits on anything other than operator error. The only complaint I have with this paddle is the white handle tape. It always looks a bit dingy with just indoor play. If I get around to changing the tape, I’ll use black next time - purely for aesthetics. It’s a good paddle, doesn’t break the bank and the purple is pretty! If you want a “better paddle” but don’t want to commit a car payment for it, this paddle is a great choice.

Got this paddle for my wife who started getting into pickleball more lately. She was using a cheaper beginner paddle and wanted and wanted an upgrade that wasn’t going to break the bank. This paddle was a game changer on day 1. She was crushing hits and had so much more control on her hits as well. If you’re looking for an intermediate paddle that is cost effective and will help improve your game, this is the paddle for you!

This paddle in general has improved my game greatly. It has a great pop, while also being gritty enough to put some real spin on the ball, but the stock grip is unacceptable. Not really sure how it could be any slicker. I’ve had $20 paddles that had grips way better than this. Easy fix switching it out or using over grips, but for being such a reputable and high end Pickleball company I was very surprised by this.

I’m an intermediate level player who started out w a $29 paddle and after 2 years of playing, I needed to move up to a higher quality paddle. I had notice most of the better players had Selkirk paddles and I’m really happy w mine. The grip is excellent and the paddle weight and face lead to excellent control. Would definitely buy it again and recommend it to others.

Just started playing pickleball 9 months ago and bought this as a beginner paddle. Worked great, or so I thought. As I continued to learn and grow as a player I stopped trying to put top spin on the ball and lately couldn't keep any shots on the court. I thought I just got bad. Luckily the paddle straight up came apart. When researching a replacement I noticed other paddles comments referring to surface wear and that is what happened here. After inspection I saw the edge of the paddle with normal surface and the sweet spot was smooth. I did use someone's spare and could spin again. Note I did put maybe 200 hrs of play in. So plan on a replacement if you use it that much. I have no idea how long these should last.
