Featuring 99.99% pure gold, the coin is an official Australian legal tender, a monetized bullion coin with a denomination of $100 (Australian dollar - AUD). The coin features a unique rectangular shape. The obverse features the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, as well as the face value, year-date, weight, and fineness. The reverse features a stylized Chinese dragon. The design also includes The Perth Mint's "P" mint mark. The Dragon Bar coin is backed by the Australian Government.
