This was bought for a customer of mine. They are an older couple that just needed something fast and reliable for basic computing needs. The laptop performs well, is nice looking, and has plenty of features that most users will need. I've seen a few people complaining about the memory being "falsely advertised" or wrong. It is not...the computer comes with 8GB installed (4gb in each slot). If your laptop is showing 6gb, it's because the integrated video chip has reserved 2gb of it for VRAM. This will be unnecessary for 99% of users, and you can adjust the amount of RAM allotted to video memory in the BIOS. This is extremely common in laptops, and has been for a decade. ... show more

I would have given this computer 5 stars except that the computer is advertised to have 8GB of RAM but the computer I got only came with 6GB. I'm giving it 1 star in hopes they contact me sooner to get the problem resolved. I know 2 GB is not a big deal, but I have a big beef with false advertising. So if you buy this, check all the specs to make sure they match! (And remove the bloatware that comes with all namebrand computers) ... show more

When I ordered this computer as a gift for my boyfriend's birthday, I thought it was a TOUCHSCREEN computer. All the descriptions and photos indicated it was TOUCHSCREEN. IT IS NOT! We got duped because I shipped it to him in New York so he could work while he was there. When he came home weeks later I asked to see the computer. When I found out it was not what was advertised it was past the 30 day window. I'm so disappointed and upset. NEVER AGAIN!!!! ... show more

I bought this laptop to replace my old laptop. They cost about the same, so I expected that a newer computer would be better. I was unable to install it myself--so there's more money right up front. Little things just wouldn't work. The screen quality is not as good as my old computer. My email program freezes up with regularity--very annoying. Good zoom meeting quality, though--the camera and audio are working fine so far. The computer just feels flimsier than my older laptop. This one is a lot faster (boots up very quickly), but that may be because I haven't loaded as many programs into it. ... show more
