    • Best bang for your buck, so far
Right out of the box, its looks very well built, but time will tell how long it will last. It was a snap to install onto the existing Jeep rubber hangers on my 2013 Wrangler; the hanging and clamping to only about 30 minutes. I would highly suggest cleaning the Jeep tailpipe with an abrasive like 100 grit sandpaper or equivalent as to make the transition slide on easier. The muffler exhaust extensions are slash cut and heavy; better than I expected. I would liked a better sound, the sound I get when revved is like that of a teenager's Honda Civic. At idle, it sounds throaty, but when at highway speeds, you have a droning sound, but what can you expect when you don't have headers. Why pay 500 bucks for any other item, when this one is the best bang for your buck? Time will only tell how long it will last, but it is heavy steel and well built, so I believe it will outlast the Catback and the Dynomax. ... show more

    • Almost perfect..?
1st of all if you've never had an aftermarket exhaust in any of your vehicles there's something you need to understand. They are loud, much more so than your OEM factory exhaust and replacement exhausts like what you would get at places like meineke. Regardless of how much other reviewers say that it's "relatively quiet" it will be much louder than your factory exhaust. On top of that aftermarket exhausts tend to drone when cruising at speed. If all of that is all right with you... Then this is a pretty solid bolt on exhaust. It's smaller than the OEM and has a nice deep throaty sound. It's also dual outlet. Installation is fairly basic if you have experience with automotive exhaust and even if you don't as long as you use some common sense. It's a fairly straightforward install. It looks pretty good and sounds great. So why only 4 stars? Due to its design the exhaust tends to sit slightly canted/crooked. It could have used another inch on the passenger side hanger. Furthermore the exhaust tips that are included are not only comically large but have a very poor retaining bracket. So much so that I had to take mine off and just leave them off. With that said the vendor is very attentive and fair. And they are looking into the issues with the tips. ... show more

The system arrived and it was made of good quality, no issues. The install was easy and matched up to the hangers and existing pipe. The sounds is aggressive at start up and acceleration until you get to the cruising speeds and then you don’t hear it as much, which is what I was looking for. I have a soft top so I didn’t want a super aggressive tone as I am driving for a long period of time at cruising speeds. I can’t complain about anything at this point, if anything changes I will update. Great but for a decent price. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. All I can say is.. buy this exhaust if you have a JK/JKU! Old exhaust was a PIA to get off but this one goes on with a breeze! I paired this exhaust with a corsa cold air intake and it sounds amazing! At first I was a little disappointed because I like my cars louddd and driving wasn’t as loud as I thought.. until I opened up the back glass on my Wrangler and BAM, sounds absolutely amazingggg! Throaty deep tone, a little crackle when you get on it. Advantage is I have a 6 speed so I can make it growl as much as I want, but I have to say it has a perfect tone between 2500-3000Rpms. No droning that I’ve noticed with my hard top blocking out most of the noise. Going 60-75mph my tires hum louder. I have to say it’s the perfect exhaust if you don’t want to sound like an annoying civic hauling by! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. So far, I'm in love! For the price and a 20 minute install, I couldn't be happier. With that being said, the inlet pipe was slightly bent to where it wouldn't fit. With a little mallet work, some elbow grease, and WD-40, I was able to get it set all the way in on the stock exhaust tubing. I'm going to put that on UPS since the box was damaged in shipping. The growl is great up to about 1400 RPM and the tones out between 1500 and 2000 RPM. No crazy hum, but a great low drone in OD. Have not tested on the interstate yet... I will check the connection for leaks after 30 days, and also test the tip fittings over the next 30. ... show more

I own a 2011 2 door Jeep JK soft top/hard doors 6 speed. I have the factory exhaust and can barely hear my motor. I didn’t want to spend 4-6 $ bucks on a muffler ,but definitely wanted something sportier. I LOVE the ELT! As soon as I started my Jeep I had a grin on my face. It’s loud enough,but not too loud. I hear my radio fine and can talk on my cellphone if needed. It makes driving a lot more fun. Being a V6 it doesn’t sound like a Honda at all. It’s very unique. I’m glad I purchased it.     • Not worth the money
In videos and pictures of this product it sounded good and looked great, but now that I've had it on for a while, I regret my purchase, it was a pain to install and had to be modified to sit straight, it made my jeep sound like a Honda civic which was not what I was going for, these are inconvenient but the main problem is the rust, when I initially looked at the product, it said it was made of stainless steel, I've had the exhaust for not even a year and it's almost completely rusted out, i don't recommend buying this, it sucks to say that about a product but I really dont have much good to say about this item. ... show more
