A good eco reusable alternative to single-use plastic straws. There's a good amount so I don't have to keep washing a few and can wash them all at once at the end of the week. The brush it comes with is great. They are super easy to clean. They are super soft and bendy so it is easy to travel and store them. You smoosh them up and can carry them in anything. They go right back to their old shape with no damage. Their softness is great for straw chewers too. It doesn't damage them or your teeth. I enjoy the variety in color too. I needed some straws and ended up purchasing these. They’re no bad I think it’s a preference thing where I would like a more sturdy straw then something bendable. But, I like that it comes with the little straw washer.

I bought these because I was afraid of eventually damaging my teeth on the metal straw version. The added benefits of these silicon straws is that they come in different colors, so you can differentiate cups, and that they are flexy, so you can bite them (if you like) and not harm your teeth. I've had no trouble cleaning them. I do reserve the darker colors (purple and blue) for drinks that stain (coffee, tea). None of my straws have changed in color so far, and all are still intact after almost 1.5 years of usage. ... show more

I purchased these because I’m trying to slowly make small lifestyle changes to “go green.” With the amount of straws that end up in the ocean, I wanted to do my part to try and reduce that. Not only do you receive 10 straws, which is PLENTY if you’re keeping them clean, they’re durable, easy to use, BPA free, come in cute colors (or not for the men who don’t prefer pastels), come with a little bag for storage so you can keep them in your purse, also include a brush which makes it easy to clean them entirely, and the best part? By leaving a review, you ensure 100% of proceeds go to Oceana, a nonprofit for ocean conservation. I couldn’t be more pleased. I soaked these in hot water and soap overnight, as they do have a silicone-like weird smell initially, and to get them clean. Since they are flexible, they’re easy to bend and get the brush inside of to clean out any residue. I recommend keeping five clean at all times, and then keeping five in your bag so you can just swap them out as needed, and always have one for a friend or partner to show them the benefits of saving the oceans.
