So Glad I bought this. Time saver and makes the job so much easier.The cuts are clean and straight and no sawing mess. I’ve only laid 100 sq ft out of the 650 I need to do but so far it’s a winner. I’ve read bad reviews that it can’t hold up to the thicker hardwood planks, and I can see it’s too light weight for that but I’m doing vinyl and for that it works perfectly.

Using this on a 1000 sq.ft. LVP flooring job. I've laid flooring multiple times without a cutter like this so it's not something you absolutely need, but wow, having it really makes things easier. Need to trim 1/8" more off a plank, no problem. The guide rail pops off for angle cuts and mounts on either side. It's very sturdy and easy to move around. Gives a nice clean cut. Highly recommend.

This cutter seems very well made with heavy duty aluminum extrusions making up the structural components. The cut was extremely crisp on both top and bottom when I tested it on wood laminated flooring with a cardboard backer. I also tries some thin solid plywood and even thin molding. There was no splintering at all! Of course the blade is new and quite sharp. Assembly was very easy with 4 bolts holding the cutter assembly to the table, and another 3 bolts holding the handle bracket in place. But there are a few issues that make me wonder if this is really "professional" grade. For one thing, the table is made of 6mm plastic. I can't help but wonder if this will hold up after sitting in a hot truck all day. There are a few reinforcement bars under the table to keep it from warping though. I'm not crazy about how the fence is attached to the table. There are two pins in an aluminum bar that fit into holes in the plastic table. It's just a friction fit so over time if the holes widen the bar is going to be a little sloppy and not hold in place. There are holes for the 90 degree and 45 degree cuts only. The table is marked for 15 and 30 degrees, but there are no holes for the fence for these angles. If I ever need those settings I would probably make my own template because I would not want to keep moving the fence for risk of widening the holes. There are holes on the left side for 90 and 45 also, but they are not marked on the table. It would make a lot of sense to provide other holes for the fence in the middle of the table. Most flooring is not 20" wide so to even wear on the blade it would be nice to be able to put the fence in the middle or even 1/4 of the way. Since this cuts the entire width of the piece in one motion, it does require a bit of effort to pull the handle down. One good thing is that since the entire blade contacts the piece at the same time, there is not much change of it moving once you start the cut. It is a bit difficult to see your cut marks because the cutter assembly shadows the blade contact point. A nice LED work light on the blade would be a nice addition. While you can put the handle in the lower position to take less room, or remove it completely (and loose it in the truck), it would make more sense if you could lock the handle down so it would not in the way or bent when storing. The kit includes wrenches and a sharpening stone, though I don't think this will be easy to sharpen with the blade in place. There is also no mention of where to get a replacement blade in the instructions. I don't know how the blade will hold up with mineral backed flooring either. There are 2 pages of wood types with the hardness rating (Janka) in the booklet, but nothing about sharpening the blade or getting a replacement! While this is a nice tool, I think I will stick with a miter saw for most cuts. This may be well made but is expensive and I expected a little more from a tool labeled as professional.

I used this on 18.5 x 37 inch vinyl tiles. Cuts nice and clean with almost no mess. Only complaint is that it is fairly lightweight and you have to hold the cutter down with your foot when you are cutting large tiles or planks but still a great value.
