Finally... a manufacturer decided to create a stand, steel I might add, not plastic, not wood. I have a Solar 42n synth, not cheep. I needed a stand to "safely" and "securely" support it. The stand is very rigid and does not flex. Stability is at the top of the list. Totally adjustable. I highly recommend this stand for peace of mind. The stand is worth the money. It’s metal but still light and breaks down to be portable. It is incredibly easy to put together even without instructions. My fiancé uses it to prop up his MPC Live 2 and found that he could adjust the stand to fit his needs perfectly. He also uses it for his different mini keyboards and changes the size accordingly, it was a loved gift!

This product fits my Sp 404 mk2, but it is a *close* fit! To make it work, you'll have to collapse the cross bar ALL the way down to get the stand flush to edges of the sampler. If you look closely at the product photo, you'll notice that the taper of the SP-404 comes in a bit, but the whole sampler will be supported by the stand. That caveat being given, this is an excellent stand - it's economical, it's very sturdy, and it's made of quality materials. The grippy feet, grippy sides, and enough elevation at the bottom to plug in your headphone jack and quarter inch inputs make it a much better choice for the SP-404 than a simple laptop stand.
