  • Cannot beat this! LOUD! GOOD QUALITY. 2 WEEKS.
Wow. So loud! Get the 6000 watt mixer/amp and an amp and 3000 watt woofer. Clear nice sound. Still playing with EQ. Cant make up my mind but loud as carp and sounds great! Hooked 2 of the 18" woofers folded horns after this review. I need louder vocals but ai am not able to use the speakers to their potential. I suppose if i turned the bass down i could turn it up more and vocals cpuld be louder, but why would i turn the subs down? Subs are on 6 with crossover about 3/4 up. So i have a couple of the MTX dual 12" PA speakers running of a Rockville 1000 watt amp w/ rockville EQ. Im just going to hook them up with it! I have received two Anonymous cards one of my front door with a flower and one on my mailbox from Neighbors asking nicely to turn it down. After bot being home much for a week. And not playing my music i watched this lady on camera stick a card on my mailbox. I have no idea where lives. I believe on the steeet behind be several houses down. Maybe I'll just have to start a ring like am a d.j. and play music for bars idk. The fold horn woofer are coo but the boxes rattle like crazy i built sealed boxes for them. I am going to port them. Have to port or buy a sinlar style box 1100 sq ft home sounds great but 6 nonths later m still not fully satisfied just xant spend the $$$ like that right now. I got enough into. Rockville can be challenging but they will evewntually get back to you. Ask for Jackie he probably dont lime me a whole lot he alright and hust follow protocall. Dont get lowballed. Lol ... show more

  • Great Full Range Speakers
These speakers are awesome. The sound is very clear and they can really handle lots of power. I'm pushing them with 1000W RMS and no distortion as yet. Definitely worth the money. Looks like one of the speakers were rough handled during transport so the grill was badly dented. Looked like it was in an accident. I had to take it off and straighten it out to make it fit properly. (I tested the speaker to make sure it was working before attempting repair. Not recommending anyone do this if a speaker arrives damaged.) Other than that, they are great and obviously very durable to survive whatever happened with only cosmetic damage. It's made from very strong material. ... show more

  • Good speakers
Had double 15's I regret letting go was relocating and Trying to move less.. At first was like not much bass. Then thought you need to break them in... Played heavy bass songs all day... Then the bass started to kick in... Double 15's should not really need subs except maybe a club or very large outdoor venues in my experience I did events where there we supplied our own sound and was just as beefy as people who had subs..... The highs are very nice. The grille had dents but not noticeable.. Running them with a Crest Audio 750 watts per channel @ 4 ohms. I decided to upgrade these with JBL and Peavy Black Widow woofers I already had. Included pictures of original and new woofers cabinet is braced well. Be aware there is no crossover for the woofers just resistors for the Piezo tweeters. Also no sound insulation. I added the insulation and plan to add crossovers for the woofers. ... show more

  • Not bad for the investment
They sounded great the first time used, second time I could hear rattling of the materials which it was made of. The corner guards are sharp and not flush on the cabinet. Other than that value for the money and performance was better than expected. So I think as long as I don’t throw them around in vehicles or on stages then they should last much longer than anything comparable but I am only pushing 600w peak rms and have yet to find full volume. ... show more

  • short experience
their cheap (if it's rockville, it's below entry level) running them through a Crown XLS 802 i think their just budget live sound towers. i've had them bout 3yrs, used them outside for movie night, not bad. loud : yes hollow midrange sound: yes recommend: you get what you pay for 🤷🏻 i switched out these towers for a set of 1983 infinity rs1-b bass towers ... show more

  • Sweeeet!!
Rockville has done it again! These speakers are an outstanding value that sound great and handles power well. Yes one speaker was dented on a edge BFD! A lot of people cry about that and want to give a bad review when the carriers are most often to blame. As with all Rockville equipment I've bought, these were double boxed. Be smart and don't drive your equipment to red line and you will have a very enjoyable experience. ... show more

  • damaged during shipping
These are good quality speakers and the price was reasonable. One was delivered with a big, taped up hole on the box and the speaker frame is busted. Very disappointed and hoping the company makes it right. Jeanne D
