These siding installation tools are excellent. We’ve wrapped a couple of houses with Hardie board for builders we work with, so when I saw these, I thought they would be helpful and honestly just neat to have. I didn’t expect the reaction they got. When they arrived, I took them straight to my husband and told him I got him a new tool. As soon as he opened the box, he started talking about how cool they were and said he’s wanted these for a long time—before I could even finish explaining what they were. That alone says a lot. They’re heavy duty, well made, and do exactly what they’re designed to do. The adjustable reveals are very handy, and they provide solid support when mounting fiber cement siding. They make the process smoother and more efficient, especially on repeat jobs. Overall, these are high-quality, professional-grade tools that are absolutely worth having if you work with siding. A great addition to the toolbox and clearly a win with experienced installers.

The media could not be loaded. I used these for installing hardie concrete siding. I also have plastic original ones these are better made with all metal construction excerpt for The clamping levers which are plastic. These gauges allow one person to install concrete plank siding as fast as 2 people because they clamp on to the lower course and hold the upper piece in the correct location for nailing to the wall studs through the sheeting. These are a must have for installing any amount of this type of siding.
