These gear boxes are very nicely made. Only issue is, I didn't pay attention when ordering and I ordered the wrong size for the 12V motorcycle that I am trying to repair for my grandson. These are definitely too big for that item. But the fault lies with me not ordering the correct item.

I purchased these to replace a burned out motor in my son's 12v tractor, which I purchased on Amazon last year (2022). I didn't realize they would be such an upgrade! My 4yo son loves the upgraded speed on his tractor! If I had known about these as an option, I would have upgraded awhile ago. I was previously thinking about upgrading to 18v or 24v, but we definitely don't need that at this point. Installation was super easy and the gearboxes fit without any issue. We have only had them for a week, so I can't give a statement on their longevity. Very satisfied so far!

Just installed them, they work . Had to rewire and cut some of the actual car to make them fit and line up good with the axle so be ready to use your imagination if you order these. Will update review once the kids start beating on them.

Worked great for a radio flyer Go kart. Started using 18v Ryobi batteries in it and burned up the old motor. These have worked wonderfully.

The motor that power secures is supposed to have a regulator on it but does not. So I changed the motors out with the old motor and now it seems like the gears inside of the gearbox are jammed up

These gearboxes fit perfectly, and have a faster revolution speed. The boxes however are not left and right, but both the same side. Basically one wheel goes foward, one goes backwards lol. They are soldered so I haven't rewired them to see if you can reverse on opposide side. Overall good replacement for a side...

I recently purchased the 2 Pcs Kids Ride On Car Gearbox 550 12V Motor 300 for my child's Grave Digger ride-on car. Unfortunately, I encountered some issues as the motors did not fit properly. The motors are specifically designed for 12V ride-on cars and are supposed to be compatible with various models, including the Grave Digger. However, upon receiving the motors, I noticed that they were slightly larger than the original motors in my child's ride-on car. This made it impossible for me to install them properly. I attempted to make adjustments and modifications to the ride-on car in order to accommodate the larger motors, but unfortunately, my efforts were unsuccessful. The size difference was too significant, and there was no way to securely attach the new motors without jeopardizing the safety and functionality of the vehicle. I was disappointed with this purchase because I was hoping to upgrade the performance of my child's ride-on car with these new motors. However, due to the compatibility issues, I was unable to do so. I reached out to the seller to discuss the problem, and they were responsive and offered a refund.
