These two sponges arrived pre-moistened. I put one of the sponges in water for about 30 minutes and got to work! I used the sponge to clean everything! The baseboards, doors, window panes, door frames - you name it! It actually cleaned everything well! Using both sides (ridges/smooth) it picked up most of the dirt, hair and dust that has accumulated over time. It didn't get everything but it did a much better job than I believe a regular sponge would do! The hair/dirt/dust didn't stick to the sponge - it literally rinsed in the bucket and it right came off! The sponge itself maintained its integrity - it didn't crumble or fall apart at all during usage. I believe these sponges are a good buy! You can reuse them many times as they are extremely durable. They are affordable, practical and definitely useful! I highly recommend.

I was interested in these sponges because of the ridges on the top - I figured they would make cleaning a baseboard a little more thorough. Our first floor is 1600 SF so we have a lot of baseboards to cover. The second pic is what it looked like at the end. I did rinse it off once and the dust / debris easily rinsed off the sponge. It didn't start to disintegrate nor did any sponge chunks come off in the process. I'm not sure how long they will last, but I'm happy with them for my first time using them.

These were not at all what I imagined, but they worked really great while cleaning! They are very durable and a great quality. They don’t feel cheap and I can attest that they don’t fall apart as I’ve used them easily 100+ times and they are still holding up. Staple when I’m cleaning now!

Does this have a size to choose from? This is too small for my hand and hard for me to just grasp with my arthritic fingers. It was a lot of stress to hold it well while it was wet and passing through stuff to clean.Unfortunately I don’t have the “tool” to attach it to so I can have a better handle. This came in a pack of 2 that is individually wrapped and damp. I was curious when I opened it if it would have some kind of smell or scent but it did not. I wonder if it was just water and why would it be damp? Is there a particular reason? Is it bad to leave it dried up? I tried it on mini blinds and it did pick up the dust but just like cloth/rags, you have to go through it 3x to really clean it except when you clean it regularly and dust and dirt has not accumulated. The advantage of this over rags is that you don’t have to throw it away after one cleaning or put it in the wash to remove dirt or constantly change it. Nevertheless, rags still don’t clean as well as this sponge that you just run through the faucet, squeeze and keep on cleaning. So far it has not left any residue or bits and pieces of the sponge on anything that I cleaned. Still recommended but I will have to update this review sometime after a few months to report if it has not started disintegrating.

I will absolutely never live without these again. The grooves are perfect for all those hard to get spots on blinds, baseboards, and so much more! They snag up the dog hair really well, and rinse right out. I was a little embarrassed by how much dirt came out the first rinse, but then I realized that just means the sponge is actually clean! The best part though, is that they don't crumble away like others I've used. Update: The more I use these the more I love them!

These sponges came sealed in a plastic zip bag and were slightly moist already. I used the sponge on quite a few items and it does okay, but not great, in my opinion. I have louvered doors in the laundry room and they get very dusty quickly. The sponge picked up soil on the first wipe, but also picked up more on the second, third and fourth wipe of each louver, taking extra effort. I think this works best for just light dust. I tested it on ceiling fan blades, lamp bases and lamp shades, book tops, book shelves, furniture, metal, blinds, electronic devices, fabric cushions, mirrors, picture frames, etc. It picked up visible dust which squeezes out in rinse water. This is a good feature since a cloth would have to be laundered. The drying time takes a little longer than a thin kitchen sponge. It is firm, but pliable, and should last a long time, but I could not squeeze it into tight corners (louver ends or window trough ends) as a cloth would do. It is easy to use and is a comfortable size for my small hand. Some dust was picked up and some was pushed away by the sponge, to be picked up again (yes, I have a lot of dust!). They may work better to remove scuff marks, finger marks and soil if you use soap of some kind. I will try that next time. The color is a very pale yellow, but I believe these can be purchased in brighter colors, if you want. Price varies greatly with vendors and I would recommend shopping carefully for the best price on these. The price for each sponge seemed a little high for what it actually does as a cleaning/dusting sponge.

I feel kind of indifferent about these cleaning tools. Based on the listing, I thought they were going to be the best thing to hit cleaning since bleach. They aren’t that. I followed the instructions for wetting this device and started trying to clean some stains on my wall. It didn’t do much for stains. In fact, some cleanser and a damp rag would have been better. It did do a great job getting in the corners and on top of counter doors as far as removing dust. It kind of rolls dust into the crevices and traps it there. It was fine on surfaces for dusting, but not really better than a dust rag. Basically, it did not really clean any better than a damp rag. In some areas, a damp rag and cleanser works better. The one advantage this has to a rag is the ease of cleaning. I rinsed this with warm water and squeezed out the excess water. It looked brand new. I’ll keep these around for use when I don’t want to use chemicals or I just have a few small areas to wipe down.

The media could not be loaded. When I saw the ridges on this sponge, I thought it might be useful for cleaning baseboards and moldings that have grooves on them and turns out that it is! Since the surface is very soft and not flat, it can get into areas that others sponges can't or that you have to hold the sponge oddly and really push it into grooves. It also works great on things like edges of blinds and the grooves in shower door tracks. The second thing I love about it is that it pics up pet hair great, but the pet hair literally falls off when you rinse the sponge under water. See the attached video at how easy it cleaned up! Will definitely be ordering more of these!

Do make sure you follow the directions and soak these sponges in water for thirty seconds before use. Then wring them out and start cleaning. They work with whatever cleaning products you want to use and are great on bathtubs, baseboards, blinds, and vents. They even pick up hairs. I appreciate that they are the perfect shape for vents, cleaning the bottom part of sliding doors that gets so gross, all kinds of oddly shaped areas in your home. Their cleaning power kind of reminds me of magic sponges, but with a better shape. As advertised, they are indeed reusable with a simple rinse and wring out.
