So I can't say for sure that these bulbs were defective, but it sure seems that way! Unless perhaps it's because they are LED and therefore (or just) NOT a perfect match for my 2020 Kia optima? (Even though Amazon said that they were compatible with my vehicle.) When I installed them, they did light up. And of course I did this while it was still daylight, so I couldn't judge the brightness. However once it got dark, that's when I could actually tell that the light they projected, was way too dim! I had to drive with my high beams on to the closest Walmart to get replacement bulbs! (I purchased Sylvania Halogens that worked fine.) Other cars could see my headlights, but I couldn't see the road! But perhaps that's why they are so cheap? Either way, they did not work for me...

I have a 2013 Sonata. These bulbs work perfectly for the low beams/running lights. However, I find that they do not produce the necessary light for night driving. I have more powerful LED bulbs for my main headlights and fog lights. Concerning the price point, it's an excellent value and the item performs as expected with no flickering. Inversely, I found that these bulbs from Auxbeam work perfectly for my main headlights but will flicker if used for my low beams/DRL.
