I received this sleeves yesterday and I put them on and went outside to work. Pros: beautiful pattern, stayed in place on my arms without cutting into my skin and causing pain. I think that I have some fluffy upper arms and I don’t like tight sleeves. I was ok wearing these. They are thin and not super hot. I did wear them from about 5-9pm in this humid Kentucky heat. Cons: I wore the sleeves while picking wild blackberries. It did help prevent scratches but not pokes. The sleeves snagged a few times but it kept my hand from getting scratched. I carefully unhooked the sleeve from the sticker and got back to work. It didn’t pull any threads. I also wore the sleeves while picking squash. I teated them by sticking my arms under the squash leaves and I got poked. Probably not as much as I would have normally but I was still getting poked. I have LOTS of red heads in my family. I have fair skin but I do tan. I was trying to use these as an alternative to sunscreen. I think they will work best when I pick up limbs and weeds from the yard. I wore them while walking to the mailbox (long walk) and I felt too hot. It was around lunch time and hot. I couldn’t wait to get out of them. I gave it a 4 star because of getting poked multiple times. They will probably work great for sun protection when it is a little cooler outside. ... show more
