Edit- I finally received my package (thank you, Amazon). These items came already charged and ready to use. I plugged one into my phone with the case on. It started charging with no effort, and charged my phone up quickly. I am now seeing well how well they hold the charge when not plugged in. So far, I am well pleased. I would love to give a review of this product, but Amazon delivered my package to the wrong house and is doing nothing about it. I cannot afford to pay for merchandise I did not receive. I bought this to prepare for bad weather. I am not in a position to drive house to house in dangerous weather in my neighborhood looking for a package that is probably nowhere to be found at this point. I will not be ordering again. If you can make Amazon make this right and get my order to me, I will be happy to give a better review.

I absolutely love this portable charger. First, it plugs directly into my phone - so no cords to fumble with or get in the way. It is hardly noticable when plugged into my phone. Second, my phone was down to 25%; I plugged in this charger and within an hour or so my phone was at 100% charge. I highly recommend this portable charger!

I bought these chargers a few months ago and I use them periodically. I carry it with me when I leave the house just in case I need it. Lately I notice that the charger started to heat up the long it was attached to my phone. I don't use it to totally charge the phone but just to give it some juice until I can get to my cords at home. Other than that I have no issues with it.
