Okay, I'll give you the whole scoop. I bought it guessing, so now you won't have to. You could see that this is not the OEM Milwaukee offering. I bought it because it appears to have a little more surface area than the OEM Milwaukee, and it doesn't have the screw holes in the top that the OEM Milwaukee has. And it works perfectly. In terms of fit and finish, it may loosen up over time, but when you first get it you have to pop it in with a little hammer tap. But it's in their solid once you do. That's said, I happen to be a DeWalt guy. So I don't have a whole pack out system. I only have the large pack out toolbox. If you're not planning to mount it on that box specifically, then the negative I'm about to tell you is a nothing burger. But if you are... The large handles on the top of the large toolbox will not come up with this attached. Now I haven't done it yet, But looking at it I believe I can make that handle come up with a quick snip of the corners, using a multi-tool. I can't guarantee that at the time of this writing, cuz I haven't done it yet, but it looks like it will work. Outside of that, there's no downside to this. The original OEM Milwaukee offering has a plastic frame around it, reducing the surface area, and has four screw holes on the surface to attach it to that plastic mounting. This system does not have those limitations. And now you know. I'm happy with it. Worst case, I have to pop these off in order to pick up the box and move around with it. Most probable case, once I clip those corners with a multi-tool, I'll be able to leave it on and the handle will work. Medium case, clipping the corners won't work and I'll have to sand for plane down the sides slightly to make it work. If I think about it after I make these alterations, I'll come back and tell you more. ... show more

    • Well made, looks nice and professional.
They are very well made and look nice mounted on to my xl tool box. They don’t fit on top of the large toolbox though, they don’t sit high enough to clear the top handle on that particular box so I may be returning.

I realized it was a two piece when I ordered it, but thought the two pieces would match up better in the middle. It's a pretty good step. The quality of the wood is very good. I love the Packout side tables from this seller, so much that I got a second almost right away. Wish this one was better. Guess I'll just sand it to match better. ... show more

I was surprised when I realized it is two separate pieces to make the one top. I guess I missed that in the description. I love it. I can now use two smaller boxes for my top and it works out much better. Used it camping and lots of questions and positives about them. I will be buy another set for my second box setup ... show more

    • They do not lock into the case, they sit on it loosely
These do not lock into the mount, they just sit on top of the box and will slide off if the case is leaned forward.
