Installed these on a chicken coop. For the price, I had very low expectations. I was pleasantly surprised -- the windows open and close smoothly, the metal frames and flanges are sturdy and a thick gauge metal, the frame had protective plastic on it for shipping and the paint finish seems durable, etc. I would highly recommend these -- well worth the price for sheds, chicken coops, outbuildings, etc.

I had put plexiglass in my little cat houses years ago but all i had to do was cut a little more and perfect!! The cats love it! I can now open up the window so they can have more air in hot weather. Very easy to install and I am in my 60's and a girl. I wish I had thought of this years ago. Thanks for the great product!!

I'm using these in a chicken coop I'm building. They're fine for that. There are some waves in the metal around the edges where they screw in. Screws included are ok, but they aren't painted white to match. Therefore, they visually stand out more than if they're white. Also, if you plan to put molding/casing to cover the screws, the heads stand higher than the tiny lip, so you're better off using a screw that's flat on top. That's what I did, and even then it's hard to cover over them. The included screens are ok. They don't "lock" in place, so they can be removed from the outside of the window. These only open from the bottom, and have three positions where they can lock into place to stay open. Overall, they're going to work really well for me. If I was trying to use these somewhere that they were going to be seen or used very often, I might look for something a bit nicer.

These are impressive for the price. They're NOT for house use or anywhere with conditioned heat/air. These are for outdoor spaces only. Single hung, not insulated. I got them for or backyard deck are just to keep the rain/ wind out. The price/window was my main concern and these fit the bill. The instructions are garbage, so throw them away if you've never framed or hung windows. And DON'T use a chainsaw! lol. No mention on rough in size or anything. Frame for 24" x 27" in case your wondering. Perfect size for my openings. Quality is between "expensive" windows and windows I would return. Comes with a bag of screws. Inner window slides smooth as silk, and they have budget removable screens pre-installed. I would recommend, especially since I've ordered four more sets! Good for cheap!

I knocked off a star because it's difficult to unlatch the window the first time and I almost broke the glass trying to get it down. There is no insulation or double pane on these windows, so it's perfect for outdoor animal spaces (I will put wire over it of course). Very pretty and elevated my coop
