They seem to be good quality. I've got them on 2 motorcycles. The only catch was my current installation on a '79 Yamaha XS650 Special II which had old style 1156 incandescent bulbs, required resistors in order for them to work right. This particular model has a unusual 6 pin connection to the blinker relay so changing that was not really an option. But other than giving off heat the resistors have them working great. ... show more

These signals have one major flaw, the thread is not attached internally to the plastic signal, it is just shoved in the rubber part, which means when you tighten the bolt it will pull all the threads out. If you are careful when tightening, it won't be snug enough to not SPIN around in circles on whatever you mounted it to, and the nut will back off without locktite. The design of this signal is inherently flawed, and you will need to use the provided nut as a "backing nut" and find your own nut that matches the threads to "pinch" the mounting surface between the nuts so the threads don't pull out. The gauge of the wire is also REALLY small, like a 18-20 gauge wire. The gauge of the signal wires on all motorcycles is 16 gauge, which means you'll have a hard time using automotive connectors since your harness would need a connector compatible with 16g and the signals would need a 18 or 20g. MOST electrical connectors are a range of 14-16g then 18-22g, so this is why this is an issue. So you'll have to use solder connectors, and then additional head shrink on the signal side, which means they wont be easy to disconnect without cutting wires again. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1, because all of the above I experienced as i got them to finally be mounted correctly and work, and they were cheap. I do NOT recommend these signals for anyone looking for a straight-forward install. ... show more
