They are very strong and sturdy, but they are wide. I would use these in the middle portions of a bed frame. These are not able to adjust down. They can continue to go up, but that is too high.

On arrival the top and bottom pieces were screwed together, which was a little confusing. You’ll need to unscrew those two pieces and then assemble the middle piece and add the yellow locking rings. Problem solved! If you're tired of having a saggy spot in your bed frame due to missing or broken supports, these are a great solution! Super easy to use and install, just set them under the problem spot, screw them to the correct height and you're in business. Nothing complicated or hard to deal with, just about anyone can use them.
