I as a DIY guy built an entire bathroom, I hired out the plumbing. As I was planning the tile, I looked into what was involved with a " niche" and holy H, what a tile nightmare! So I skipped that and found these, I did 1/16 grout lines, so it was a snug fit (and if you are adding it to 1/16 lines the little tool won't help, you will need another way to remove the grout) Anyway, I set all the tile then installed 2 of these as I was grouting. I also used a fine line of color match caulk to make sure everything was sealed. They look great and function great. One bit of advice, be sure to put them high enough that no one can think it's a foot rest for leg shaving!

These are beautifully made, with a nice brushed finish (note: not as warm-toned as other brushed nickel). If your corners are within a few degrees of 90 degrees, these should work well. As long as you can get the tabs between the tiles even slightly, they should be very sturdy. NOTE: USE THE BEST 100% SILICONE CAULK YOU CAN BUY. It is worth the couple of extra dollars and will set faster, bond better and provide a strong connection to the tile. I used GE Advanced Silicone 2 and even though the shelves were barely within the tiles they are sturdy and rigid.

These corner shelves are just what I needed for our bathroom. We are currently remodeling our bathroom and these shelves are perfect for the corner we will be tiling. They are easy to install if you have not installed the tile yet. If you have already installed the tile, you'll have to do a little extra work to make them fit, but they'll still work. Keep in mind that your grout lines must match where they meet in the corner. If they are staggered these will not work. If you are tiling and your tiles are staggered, you can cut lines for these with a tile saw.
