The adapter is correct and fits for the iphone (not usb-c) however it only works when you have it plugged in to the charger also. So in order for the adapter to function and display whats on your iphone, you have to plug it into your phone, plug a charger into the adapter and then plug it into the outlet. You dont have to install anything, no software no zip files, nada. But hey, it works. Sucks that it has to be with a charger, but it works

The Chinese product does a good job mimicking the actual Apple product visually, but does not deliver on any functionality. 1. It needs to be plug into a charger to even work (work is a strong word I guess a better for what I experience is respond) 2. The mirror latency is so bad and you need to download a 3rd party application which doesn’t work. It was cheap so I said why not. But trust me please don’t waste your time this device does not work like AT ALL.

I recently got the Apple Lightning to HDMI Adapter, and it's fantastic! It easily connects my iPhone to the TV, and the 1080P picture quality is impressive.
