This easymake 2-in-1 lawn aerator & weeding tool set should say 4-in-1 because I have plans for this baby! Yes at first glance it’s a fantastic aerator and weeding tool on one head. It’s heavy duty. Like I’m talking solid. Two screws per section, solid. It’s large in size too. Verging on almost comical. You can switch between the aerator head and the flat head with two screws. The flat head has great potential! It peeled back grass that has grown over our driveway with ease and cut down the edging. My husband wanted me to mention he really wished the handles were silicone and not plastic, that’s where they cheaped out and that had the potential for blisters. That’s why I had to minus one star! The flat head is also going to be amazing for upstate NY winters and breaking down ice. It’s going to chip away at it with ease. I highly suggest this for the how easy this is to use. You get more than one product out of one product and I love that. Anything that’s versatile is a plus. The quality is also really great even with the plastic handles so it’s a great value for your money.

I got this to aerate my lawn because some of the grass got a bit compacted. I wanted to love this tool and had high hopes for it. The install process was OK, although it does have bolts that require installing rather than simply having the various pieces pop into place. Which means that removing the aerator to install the pick will require unbolting and rebolting. Once built, I tested it out and was instantly sad. I guess I’m not heavy or strong enough, because as a small framed female I couldn’t get the aerating picks deep into the ground even after it had rained for several days and the ground was soft. I tried jumping on the tool but that didn’t work either. After the first pass and once it was clogged, I was able to get it a couple of inches into the ground, but that was it. When it gets plugged up after the first use, the dirt is hard to remove - so unless I take a pick and did it out, it is stuck in there. Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but no instructions for use were included. I hope others have a better experience and maybe somebody could post a video if they are able to use this successfully, because I REALLY want this to work!

The aerator tubes and scraper are sharp! I was really impressed with how sturdy this tool is! I don’t think I’ll have to worry about it bending or warping when I’m using it on this hard Texas clay in my yard! The steel feels strong and dependable, and the whole thing has a solid, well‑built feel to it. I like that they include a couple of extra aerator tubes — that’s a nice bonus! One thing that threw me off for a minute was the directions for the nuts and bolts. The diagram makes it look like the bolt goes into the nut, and I sat there confused until I looked at another section that was already assembled. Then I had a big DUUUHHH moment. Hahahaha!! Of COURSE the nut goes on the opposite side! Boy, did I feel silly! I also love that they give you an extra pole to attach the scraper to, so switching between the aerator and the scraper is easy peasy! And honestly, I keep calling it a “scraper,” but it’s more than that! That sharp cutting edge is PERFECT for this hard dirt in my yard! I’m planning on putting up a trellis and vine, and this is going to be fantastic for cutting in a hole! With the high quality of the steel, the comfort of the handles, the excellent design, the solid construction, and its versatility, this is an AMAZING value for the money! It is going to get a LOT of use around here!

This is a convenient two-in-one lawn aerating and weeding tool. It was very easy to assemble with all of the small parts packed into one bag, including screws and bolts and an allen wrench and a little wrench. You align the holes and put the screws through and tighten the bolts. I have a rocky yard but it was easy to push through my grass. I got this because I am prepping my side yard, without dogs, to put in zoysia plugs. I thought this would be a good first step to aerate the yard. I still have to purchase the plug thing and the zoysia plugs. I have been wanting to fix up my yard for a long time. This also has proved worth it by removing large clumps of weeds. It's so much easier than bending down and pulling them out. You just put this in vertically and step on the thing and it goes right in and the weeds come right out. I am planning on using the shovel part to remove the grass that is up to my rock garden. I figure maybe an inch or two and it would look nice. I can handle the weeds and small things but I have a friend who is going to do the aerating on my side yard and will be planting my zoysia. This is a space-saving set that is very affordable and of good quality, made of stainless steel to hold up for a long time. I think the price is very good for what you get.
