For the money, cant beat it. Install went about as well as any of the name brand carbs off the shelf at an auto parts house. Didnt need much tuning out of the box. Have had no issues with leaks or fitment. Performance.. well, its a 2 barrel boys. Value carb to replace the old single barrel of a 60yr old dodge. Fit just fine, looks good, and if its atomizing fuel and getting us down the road, wont hear a complaint :) Thanks! ... show more

A great upgrade for the old Jeep.
The Motorcraft 2150 carburetor is a popular upgrade for the Jeep 258 engine. It is known for enhancing performance and throttle response compared to the stock carburetor. That’s why I ordered this one. It makes a difference in the performance without having to do any extra adjustments. It takes a little tinkering to make the linkage work correctly but it’s worth it and it’s really pretty simple. This is nearly a plug and play type of upgrade. When a rebuild kit for the 46 year old carburetor costs ten or 12 bucks less than the carburetor I couldn’t justify taking the time to do it.
