Ooooomg y’all. I was so excited to get this product BUT my experience was a nightmare from hell. This is not for beginners at all. I did a patch test on my legs and it went well. I did my daughters chin hair and went well, BUT when I got to the part that I initially ordered this for thats when my nightmare began. I had my sister help me do my VaJay-J it was thee worse painful experience everrr. It hurted so badly that I cried thee entire time, after about 3-4 hours we only got halfway through bc I had to take breaks in between this painful, horrific experience. The pain was so bad that I just went to bed bc it was too much of a painful task to get the wax off the other side, and we both started getting frustrated. We almost started arguing about it. I thought I was going to have to go to the ER like the Gorilla glue lady. Okay so day 2, as much as I wanted the wax off I was still in so much pain. Every time I moved throughout the night the wax pulled at my vag hairs. So I had decided to run errands for my Valentines Day gifts and dinner first and get back to the wax removal nightmare and shower once I got back home, besides I did shower the night prior right before I began the waxing. So I just slipped on some sweats and left. However when I got back home things had worsened. Now my panties was stuck to the wax. I cried so much bc I had to pee badly but I couldn’t pull my panties all the way down. By this time I was pressed for time and running late on getting myself together for my romantic Valentines dinner/evening. I just laid on the bed and had a meltdown like a big ole baby. I finally told my fiancé what happened, he looked up some tips on removing hard wax and began doing everything from hot water and oil, to hand soap, and ice. those things barely chipped away at the wax. By this time my Fiancé decided to go pick up dinner instead of us cooking together bc it was getting late, leaving me alone for over an hour to keep trying myself which was very difficult to do. When he got back he seen I had enough and obviously so did he bc I had used the bathroom but bc I only could slightly pull my panties to the side, I got pee-pee drops on my panties. I couldn’t even wipe properly and I just felt and looked like a disastrous mess. He said babe get in the shower, run hot water and the hose over your panties to soften the wax and hopefully it’s easier to pull the panties away. I was able to get the panties off but the big wax patch was still there. I began heating and hosing at the patch. I was so hot, sweating out my hair from the shower steam and Bc I have my nails done long the wax was sticking to my nails like bubble gum as it began to soften making it difficult so babe got in the shower with me to help out, he sat on our shower bench and pulled away at the pieces as I sprayed the super hot water on the wax. OUCH!!!! It was coming off in tiny balls but we both was just super determined and happy that something was finally working. Needless to say most of our Valentines evening was spent trying to remove this hard wax from hell from my VaJay-J but our team work made our VDay dream work. We ate dinner late but our night was so much more rewarding and yummy. We didn’t even have any nasty sex like I planned to bc babe felt so sorry for my pain that he said he just wanted me to heal(I think he’s traumatized lol) so he just gave me a really good full body massage and held me tight all night. This warmer is easy enough, love the wax. I gave four stars instead of 5 because the bar over the top, to wipe the sticks on, doesn't warm. This makes the wax stick to it. It's not to difficult to clean though.

    • Buy it, makes waxing so much more pleasant.
wax warmer works better than I thought. It melts wax quickly (usually just set it on high and walk away for a bit) and then I adjust the tempt to 170ish to keep it warm and thick honey consistency. Keeps the temp accurately and hasn't faltered so far (I've only used it twice though) I deducted one star (since we can't do a half a star which amazon really should allow, doing partial stars that is) because 8t slides around really easily, I'm trying to find some little rubber feet that can help with this as I don't want to buy a silicone mat just for this purpose, really feel it should have some rubber on the bottom so it doesn't slip and slide around. The bags of wax that came with it are decent enough, I used the light blue colored wax first and it worked well on my lower legs which have fine to medium hair on them, usually hard wax doesn't work on my legs but this did. One bag got both lower legs (I'm not new to waxing but I am new to doing it myself and had to redo a few areas because of an awkward position) I used the dark blue purple wax for a Brazilian, and although it worked it hurt a lot more than the last wax I used down there (a charcoal based one) I feel this wax grabbed the skin a bit more which made it more painful, so I don't think you should use it in that particular sensitive area, perhaps having an extra pot or two and keeping different waxes on hand for all the different areas (legs and arms, genitalia and armpits, and face. Definitely recommend this wax warmer. Hopefully everyone has a good experience as i have had, although with anything like this sometimes duds might get sent, I highly recommend replacing it first before giving up and make sure the seller is decent, sometimes multiple sellers are on the same listing and some people who say its bad didn't get it from the same seller of those who gave rave reviews. I didn't use the pre or post wax solutions, but the sticks they give are nice, much better quality then the previous ones I bought which came splintered and discolored. The ones that come with this kit are sturdy and clean off well when trying to remove built up wax. At home I use the same spreading stick on myself until I can't anymore.
