I used Sally Hansen all over body wax until they switched to a new awful formula. I was forced to research and try a new product and I decided to give this one a try. Boy am I happy that I did! If you follow the instructions, you’ll get the results. Instructions came with pictures so it was easy to follow. It works GREAT, no mess during or after application (again, if you follow the simple instructions), MUCH less pain than the prior product I used, and it left almost no residue on the skin. I experienced no redness on my skin. It was super easy to clean the applicator with warm water afterwards too. I used it for my underarm area. By the time I was almost done, the sugar had cooled down. If doing a longer session (such as legs), it will probably need to be re-heated. ... show more

Bought this twice. First time, the packaging was fine. Second time, the wax was spilled in the container, the box was open, the small roller was missing and the big roller was defective. The big roller was uneven (whatever holds it in place must have been broken) so it would leak a lot of wax from one side. The actual wax is good on fine hair and small areas, like armpits in my case. But it’s too weak for a Brazilian or anywhere you might have thicker/coarser hair. Very easy to apply and handle but it’s just not that strong. I was devoted to the Sally Hansen body wax until they changed formulas. So if you’re familiar with the old formula and are looking for something similar, this will probably disappoint you unless you have fine hair. ... show more

I got sugared for years but stopped because of the $$. Got this for bikini line, and there’s no signs of irritation after (I have sensitive skin and put baby powder on first to help). Arrived fine, heats quickly, and has two sizes of roll-ons. I cut the cloths at first but then left whole as I got better at it. Rinses off super easily with a little water. Haven’t tried on thin hair but worked great on bikini - very pleased with this product. Won’t need to buy again for a long time because you use so little! ... show more

I have tried sugaring at home and really liked how it removed hair, but it is such a mess and not as easy in the middle of a hot summer. I found this kit and am so happy! It’s the perfect middle ground for at home ease. I highly recommend!

And no matter what you do, make sure you do not accidentally overheat it in the microwave because it will explode. The advantage of easier application is negated by the ineffectiveness of the wax. It barely removed any hair, and I had to apply wax and the strip multiple times to remove any hair, leading to bruising and bleeding. I have dark hair all over my body and this really removed most if not all of my arm hair, it can be a little messy but nothing a little water cannot get rid of. It takes a couple of tries but it’s saving me so much in the long run.
